Fun and Flirty
After a few experiments in tutu wearing, I am done. No more tutus for this lady. The scratchy pile of fluff lacked the sex appeal I look for in lingerie.

Pros
cute
Cons
scratchy
I'm not exactly sure why I choose a tutu to try out, but I guess I figured I would try something new, something outside of my comfort zone. I always like to try new things, clothes, styles, but sometimes that doesn't turn out so well. Like now.
I really liked the idea of a cute fun, flirty, little tutu. In the picture it looks so cute. I pulled it out of the box it came in, and it was a mass of crumpled fabric that didn't look cute or flirty at all. It looked like something my cat just finished tearing apart with its claws. Even after attempts to fluff and make it look cute, it still was not 100%. And I was at a loss about what to actually do with this poufy red tutu.
So I experimented. Wearing it without anything else is very scratchy. Even with nylons on, it's still scratchy. I had forgotten how scratchy organza can be. I have several dresses that are never worn now because of scratchy organza lining that makes them pouf out but itches terribly--and tears up a pair of pantyhose like nothing else. This tutu is kinda of like that. Just not as bad.
I tried it with some leggings. I thought this might be the best--to avoid the scratchiness and get the maximum fun and flirty from it. Or maybe not.
Hmm after checking it out, I don't think a tutu is my style. Nor has it been since I was, like, 6, and in ballet class. Maybe tutus shouldn't be worn by grown women--specifically this grown woman. I suppose if you can rock a tutu, go for it. I will not be going the tutu route again. I will stick with leather, lace, satin, and velvet. Scratchy organza is not touching my sensitive bits again.
