I've been looking all over for thigh highs that fit my short, chunky legs. Walmart has quit carrying plus-size thigh highs around here, and everywhere else around here that carries them wants to charge and arm and a leg. I decided I'd try these to see if they actually fit my legs.

Firstly, they're made really well. It's not the cheap scratchy nylon that some hosiery is made out of. They are actually quite soft and stretchy. I don't mind wearing them at all. The lace on the top of the thigh highs that the garter belt and straps are made of is also soft and stretchy. It's not too stretchy, though; they actually hold in place pretty well.

The only problem I had is that I have short legs, and the straps aren't adjustable. So, I'm taking them up with a needle and thread to adjust them for my body. This probably wouldn't be much of a problem for the average person as the straps probably wouldn't be too long for them. However, if they are, a quick tuck and tack wouldn't be a bad idea for adjusting the straps.

I wore them to church and didn't have to fight with them rolling down like my regular pantyhose do, so that's a major plus for me. The whole not being able to find thigh highs in my size is the only reason I started wearing regular pantyhose, and I hate them with a passion. These thigh highs with attached garter belt really do the trick for me.

I'm quite glad I found these on EF, but I really wish they carried plus-size garter belts and a wider variety of plus-size thigh highs. It seems like the black is almost always out of stock, and I don't think I'll be wearing red fishnets to church.

These are still some of my favorites. I've worn them several times and they haven't stretched out of shape yet. I did take them up as I mentioned previously, and that's the only adjustment I've had to make. I've even lost weight and they are still okay. I need to order another pair just to have on hand.
