Feelin' A Bit Like Tarzan's Wife... RAWR!
The leopard dress by Fantasy Lingerie is a sexy, inexpensive lingerie piece. The dress can also be worn out in public if you're comfortable with how it fits, and how much skin is shown. The dress seems quite durable, and it is really stretchy as well. If you love leopard print, you'll love this dress!

Pros
stretchy, cute, criss-cross straps are sexy, inexpensive, comfortable
Cons
only available in one-size-fits-most
The Stretch Leopard Club Dress by Fantasy Lingerie had been on my wish list for ages! Every time I had placed an order, it was out of stock. I loved the animal print pattern, the criss-cross sides and chest area, and the fact that it was only $19.99! Just recently it had come back in stock, so I ordered it immediately.
The dress is only available in one-size-fits-most. I usually wear an XL, but every so often I am able to squeeze myself into a one-size-fits-most piece. The dress is 94% polyester and 6% spandex. Both the material of the dress as well as the criss-cross side/chest area is very stretchy. I was able to fit into the dress. The dress was really snug, but it was comfortable.
The dress arrived packaged in a pink, cardboard box. The front of the packaging states the brand name and has a photo of a model wearing the dress. The background is hot pink with a swirled design. The back of the box has a back view of the model wearing the piece. The back also states the product name, care instructions, and company contact information. The box opens on the side, and really isn’t the best option for storing the dress when it is not in use. Below you can see a photo of the front and back of the packaging.
Usually when I review a one-size-fits-most item, I suggest that those with larger frames should beware that the outfit may be a bit too tight. With the leopard dress, I strongly suggest that anyone with a smaller frame should take note of the measurements I’ve taken. I mentioned above that the dress fits my XL body comfortably. I feel that this one-size dress may be a bit baggy on a size small (or lower). While those who have smaller frames can still wear it, the criss-cross sides may not fit snug against your body, which may make them appear saggy.
The following measurements were taken with the dress laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, feel free to send me a message and I can get them for you.
Chest (armpit to armpit): 14 ½ inches
Armpit to top of open-side length: 5 inches
Bottom of dress width: 17 inches
Length of front of dress: 24 inches
Length of back of dress: 21 inches
Neck ties: 30 inches each
There are 9 criss-crosses (X’s) that run down each side of the dress, and 3 down the chest. The straps that run down the side are approximately 4 ½ inches long and ¼ inch wide. The straps on the chest are the same width as those on the sides, but the chest area narrows into a point, making the size of each strap different. The top of the chest area is 4 inches wide, and tapers into a point.
The material of the dress is extremely thin, but does not become sheer the more it is stretched. Even though the material is not see-through, I personally would not wear this dress in public. Too much of my body is exposed when I wear this dress, and it is just long enough to cover my bum (I’m 5’6). This piece will be bedroom-only for me, but if you feel comfortable enough in the dress to wear it out in public, then that’s awesome! It all really comes down to what you are and are not comfortable with.
My chest/cup size is C38, and my chest fits fine in this dress. I assume that if you have a larger chest, you may feel a bit constricted. Also, there is no padding or underwire in the chest area, so there is no support.
The neck straps are quite long (see measurements above), so they should not be a problem for anyone. The neck straps are close together on the dress, which I wasn’t really fond of. I prefer the look of straps that are further apart. These straps are 4 inches apart from each other, and they are a little over ¼ inch in width.

Experience
...continued
While wearing the dress, I didn’t find the material to be bothersome or irritable to my skin at all. The dress was very snug, but I did not feel constricted in anyway. The bottom of the dress did rise a bit when I was walking around the apartment, but since I was wearing it as a lingerie piece, it didn’t matter. The rising bottom may get annoying if you plan on wearing this in public because you’ll be constantly trying to keep your bum covered.
There is a hemline that runs down the centre back of the dress. The hemline is not very noticeable though because of the busy leopard pattern. The hemline was also not bothersome in any way.
The care tag states that the dress should be hand washed separately in cold water and to dry flat. The dress should not be bleached, twisted, or wrung.
Overall, the dress gets a 4 out 5 rating from me. The reason it loses a star in rating is because it is only available in one-size-fits-most, the strap placement is silly looking (in my opinion of course), and I’m not 100% sure, but I think that smaller framed people may find the dress to look saggy on them.

Follow-up commentary
7 months after original review
I still like the dress but I've gained some weight since the original review so it's not as comfortable as it once was. I actually just gave this outfit away because it was feeling a bit too snug on me. I wish it was available in larger sizes so I could get myself another one!
