Fantastic idea, fell short... literally.
I fell in love with this piece in theory, but when I received it, it did not fit right. It was too short in the body and the neckline didn't look right. Itchy material and awkward length did not make me feel sexy.

Pros
Long sleeves with thumb holes. Seems sturdy so far.
Cons
WAY too short. Material is a little itchy.
I was browsing on the site for something completely different when I noticed that it had plus size lingerie. As a curvy girl (size 20), I was excited to see what was offered. I found this dress and fell in love. I ordered it as soon as I could afford to, and I was way too impatient to receive it.
As soon as the box came I ran to open it. The packaging was simple; the dress was folded in a small box with the item's picture on it. It was easy to open which I appreciated. Too often items are over packaged and I get irritated just trying to GET to my purchase.
I ripped off what I was wearing to try it on. It was a little difficult to get on. The shoulders were really tight and the sleeves were very long. I wiggled into it and was shocked to discover that it was short. Very. very short. I am tall (5'10"), so I was expecting it to be a little short, but this was very short. It hit me about mid calf, and flared out awkwardly from the knee like it was supposed to be a mermaid/trumpet dress. It looked odd.
I tried to pull at it, thinking that maybe I had not pulled it down all the way but no luck. It was far too short.
I also noticed that it was really uncomfortable in the shoulders. I have average shoulders for my height, so maybe on a smaller girl it won't be so bad, but on me they were pulling a lot which also caused the mock turtleneck to look... pulled to the sides.
Overall, this dress would probably work fantastically for someone much shorter than me, but I think if you are 5'7" or taller it will probably look weird.
I sew as a hobby so I plan on making some alterations to try to salvage my purchase, but I wouldn't have bought it in the first place if I knew how it was going to fit.
Being nylon, I would wash it on delicate in the washer and not dry it or hand wash it. I don't think it needs to be dry cleaned at all, but I also would not wash it on a regular cycle.
Chances are it'll snag and pull easily over time. I would imagine probably getting 3 or 4 wears out of it before it looked trashed.

Experience
Overall, I was so disappointed at the fit that I didn't even try to wear it for anything. It's not made for anyone that is tall or broad in the shoulders. A petite woman could probably pull this off fantastically, but I certainly couldn't.
Follow-up commentary

I've lost 20 pounds. This is still waaaay too short. I didn't alter it in the hopes of maybe loosing enough weight that it wouldn't be, but I think I am going to give up and just fix it into something I can wear.

Also: What is the material? How do you care for it? Is it machine wash or dry clean only? Do you think it'll hold up over time?
