Is there anything sexier than a corset? Corsets accentuate the natural curves of the body by slimming the waist while emphasizing the bust and hips, and they also often include a hint (or more) of kink. The Seductive Corset by Charm Wear does all that, and also adds a strong dose of elegance to the mix.



The fabric on the outside of this strapless corset, which features a subtle black on black paisley pattern, looks like silk brocade and feels like linen; the matte-black inside feels like suede.



My wife said it feels "luxuriously soft" against the skin. Ruffles at the top and bottom are at once sexy and old-fashioned, kind of "steampunk kink" if you will. It's well-constructed in China of 90% polyester and 10% spandex, although again, it feels more like linen and suede than synthetic. The care tag recommends machine washing in cold water, drip drying (no tumble dry), no bleach, no ironing, and no dry cleaning.



The lacing on the back of the corset is made of a sturdy black ribbon-like material. We received the large size, which adjusts to fit waists between 28 inches and 33 3/4 inches. My wife is a size 12 and to her dismay she could just barely squeeze (somewhat uncomfortably) into the corset with the lacing fully loosened. She thinks this would best fit sizes 8-10. It's also available in medium and small.



The corset employs a traditional busk fastening system with sturdy hooks and loops. This makes it easy to put on and remove the corset once the lacing is correctly adjusted. The plastic boning is flexible, with enough give to conform to the body's natural shape.



Also included is a thong, with a front panel made of the same material as the corset, and elastic straps. It's basic, but makes a nice complement to the corset.
