Easy Fit, Harder Garters
This non-traditional slip is a nice surprise with its soft material, non-constricting fit, and unusual design. However, trying to remove the garter straps can be the source for a lot of frustration and finger pain.

Pros
Comfortable material, nice fit, interesting design.
Cons
Garter straps are tough to remove, thong is of questionable quality.
When I first took this garter slip out of the plastic garment bag in which it arrived, I thought for sure I would have to send it back and exchange the medium for a small. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable fit and the soft, non-itchy material. I am a bit compact at 5 feet tall and 120 pounds, so medium is my default size. This particular piece fit just fine, without any of the sausage-casing tightness that I had always assumed was standard for lingerie.
The front and back panels of the slip are a solid fabric, made of 90% polyester and 10% spandex (which should be hand-washed in cold water and preferably hung to dry). The sides are made out of a see-through, mesh-like material, even though the blend of material and the cleaning care are the same as the solid parts. The thong is made out of the same style of material as the side panels. There is a bit of lining at the crotch, and the back has a bit of thickness to it. It fit me comfortably, if not a bit loosely, around my hips. Each shoulder strap is adjustable and will vary from size to size, just as the actual measurements for the slip itself will. The bottom hem hits around mid-thigh for me, and the solid panels cover my breasts nicely.
There is an opening which runs a few inches down the back and is connected with a bra-like clasp towards the top. It was a bit awkward for me since I am not too big in the mammary department, but those with larger breasts are bound to appreciate it.
Since this is the first piece of garter lingerie I've ever owned, it took a bit of work for me to adjust and attach the straps comfortably. They connect to the stockings with a sort of plastic hook-eye clasp, where the round "button" is slid down the hole at the top until it locks in place. Because of that, it might not be well-suited for solid stockings, but they are bound to work well with netted stockings or ones designed for use with this type of garter clasp. The minimum length of each strap is 4 inches, and the maximum is just a little over 6 inches, which makes room for any adjustments.
The garter straps are removable, but they are extremely difficult to remove. The holes through which the hooks attach are very small, and the hook itself is sharply curved inward. It took three minutes and a lot of pulling and pushing to even get two garter straps off. Trying to put them back on is just as much of a hassle, if not more so. This would be the only downfall of the garter slip; be prepared to either keep the straps on, or else have a tug-of-war with a piece of lingerie.
