there's no such thing as having too many Diamonds
Diamond Mesh Chemise is a lovely versatile piece. I love to wear it over a very revealing corset paired with a short black skirt. You can wear it all by itself in the bedroom. It can be dressed up or down. You can also wear it over other garments such as a Bikini Bathing Suit. If you're daring, wear it over just a black bra paired with a skirt. The fit is comfortable and hugs my body nicely without being snug. I find the quality construction meets the high quality Coquette is known for.

Diamond Mesh Chemise/Dress is from Coquette's Kissable collection. Although the packaging states the piece is a Chemise, the product name on Edenfantasys says it is a dress. I will continue to refer to it as a Chemise in this review. It came to me sealed in a clear plastic bag that was inserted in a box with a folding flap. There is a good sized picture of the Chemise on the front of the box showing the visually unique features that the Edenfantasys product page doesn't show. Also, on the back of the box is a great picture of the back of the Chemise.
I ordered Diamond Mesh Chemise to wear over very revealing corsets and bustiers. The Chemise makes it possible to wear these types of corsets and bustiers in public when nightclubbing. I have worn the Chemise several times over a corset I have that has a very deep plunge in the breast area. I feel uncomfortable wearing that corset alone publically, but feel completely at ease when I wear the Chemise over it.
Diamond Mesh Chemise is designed with a diamond pattern mesh fabric as the name suggests. The mesh material is see through. The diamond shapes are created using a thin line of a thicker weave of the mesh fabric. There are some very small sparkles at every point where a diamond meets another. These sparkles add a bit of an understated more dressy look. That's not to say the Chemise can't be dressed down. The overall mesh is very fine, and closely, yet loosely woven.
The Chemise has adjustable satiny straps that do not stretch. I much prefer the solid and strong straps compared to stretchy straps. The top edge of Diamond Mesh Chemise is finished off with a stretchy edging. It is also of the same satiny material as the straps are. The bottom edge of the Chemise is unhemmed. The edge is finished off with a rolled stitch to keep the fabric from fraying or unraveling.
I ordered Diamond Mesh Chemise in one size O/S. This size is designed to fit sizes 4 - 14. That is a huge size range, I know. Below is a copy of the Coquette size chart providing fitting measurements for this size. I wear a size 10 -12 depending on how a garment fits around my shoulders. Although the chart shows a B cup size, the Chemise fits me very well without squashing my C size breasts. Even though I don't have a perfect figure, my other measurements fall within the one size measurements.
Cup Bust (in) Waist (in) Hip (in)
One Size 4 - 14 B 34 - 40 26 - 32 36 - 42
Diamond Mesh Chemise stretches sideways as well as from top to bottom. It has two side seams that are double stitched giving a solid evenly stitched seam. These seams have a nice stretch too. I got my handy dandy measuring tape and laid out the Chemise on my bed to see what the maximum stretch is. From these measurements, you can see the Chemise has a gradual A shape.
Top Edging: 18 1/2"
Across Bust Area: 20"
Waist: 22"
Hips: 24"
Bottom Edge: 26"
The material of the Chemise is made of 82% nylon and 18% spandex. The following care instructions are included on the garment tag: "hand wash only, hang to dry." The garment is made in China.
Now, how Diamond Mesh Chemise fit and worked for me. It feels very comfortable to wear. It is very lightweight and doesn't have much of a noticeable feel that I have it on. It nicely hugs my body with plenty of stretch still possible. There is nothing tight or binding in the fit. And as I've already said, my C size breasts aren't squashed even though the Coquette sizing chart shows a B cup fit. By the way, I'm a 38 B. The length comes just below the cheeks of my tushy. As I walk around in the Chemise, the bottom edge stays in perfect place, no riding up in the front or back. And when I rise from a sitting position, it's not necessary to fuss with adjusting the bottom edge. The Chemise moves nicely when I wear it over my corset. And even though the mesh is see through, it gives me that little bit of added coverage I want when wearing that particular corset.

Follow-up commentary

I would order Diamond mesh dress again in a heartbeat. It helps me to wear the corsets I love that aren't quite appropriate for public wear. I want to wear corsets in public but have always had a problem with how to wear the revealing ones in a classy way. Diamond mesh dress makes all that possible while leaving me feeling very comfortable. And an added plus for me is that when I look at myself in a mirror, I like what I see and feel very sexy. Another benefit is all the appreciative looks I get. oohh yeah, I made a very good choice in realizing that Diamond mesh dress would offer many great options.
