extremely useful review
My partner and I often find ourselves at odds when it comes to lingerie. I like things that are pretty, shimmery, and sweet (yet sexy) looking, and he likes dark and dirty. When I saw this piece, I didn't think he would like it, but I still had to have it. When I modeled this chemise for him, I was surprised to find that he LOVED it. Sure, he'd prefer it if it were a bit darker, but the sheerness and sexy cut drove him wild. He told me he thought I looked like an angel. It's safe to say that this chemise has become a keeper in my book.

Basics:
The Blushing Brides chemise is made by Coquette. Don't let the name fool you -- this isn't just for blushing brides, it's for anyone that wants to feel beautiful and sexy. That said, this would make a great piece for a newlywed bride.

Moving on, this set includes ONE piece. It's just the chemise, which comes only in white. That's right, no thong is included. I wasn't overly disappointed by the lack of thong, as usually the included thongs don't work for me anyway. While this set doesn't include a matching thong, it does include a BEAUTIFUL white padded hanger.

Material and Care:
The chemise is made out of 82% Nylon and 18% Spandex, exclusive of the decoration.

The fabric is a very pure white - almost like snow, in fact. White rarely looks good on my fair skin, yet somehow this looks amazing. The lace panel features a bit of silver sparkles. I didn't notice the silver sparkles in the stock photo, but they're actually very pretty. The sparkles are subtle, so they're not overwhelming at all.

I was a little surprised at just how sheer this piece was. Don't get me wrong, I expected it to be sheer. The stock photos on the product page just made it appear that the center lace panel was sheer, while the rest of the material was almost opaque. In reality, the solid parts of this chemise are mesh, so they're very sheer, as well. In fact, every inch of this piece is VERY sheer. It won't hide ANYTHING, but it's still very flattering.

The material feels very fragile. I worry greatly that this set will tear every time I tug on it to adjust it. I've been lucky so far, but I'd still advise you to treat this piece with a great amount of care. The fabric is just very thin, and very delicate.

The actual feel of the material is great. The lace is not itchy at all, and the mesh portion is very soft. Both the lace and mesh also have some stretch to them, though this piece still will not fit most properly.

To care for this, you're going to want to hand wash it in cold water, and then allow it to line dry. Due to how delicate the fabric feels, I would recommend sticking to those instructions.

Sizing:
This gorgeous chemise is available in two sizes: One Size Fits Most, and Plus Size. I chose to purchase the One Size Fits Most.

One size fits most should fit someone with the following measurements:
Cup size: B
Bust: 34-40"
Waist: 26-32"
Hips: 36-40"

I wear a large C/small D cup, and have a 32" waist. My hips are about 40". This set fits me well, but I don't believe that it would fit anyone larger. On the contrary, this would fit someone smaller just fine.

To help provide some insight on the fit of this piece, I took the following measurements with the item laying flat.

Underbust: 14" (unstretched), 17" (stretched)
Cups: 8" (down the middle, unstretched), 6" (unstretched)
Across the hips (right above where the skirt begins): 16" (unstretched), 22" (stretched)

As for length, I am 5'6" and the skirt manages to cover most of my bum.
Experience
Design:
This chemise is designed so that it simply slips over your head. There are no buttons, snaps, or zippers, making it a very easy piece to get into. If it's tight on you, however, you're going to want to take your time slipping in and out of it, as you don't want to tear the fabric.

The actual design to the chemise is very simple. The bulk of the chemise is sheer mesh, while the cups, and center panel, are made out of a floral lace pattern. The lace panel is eye catching, and very sexy. There is a seam going down the center of the lace panel. The seam seems to be primarily for looks, but I did find that it offered me a bit of tummy support, too -- very surprising!

The cups of the chemise have absolutely no padding, and there is no underwire. There is a seam going under the bust that may help offer some support, but otherwise you're not going to get a whole lot of support from this piece.

The cups are triangle shaped, with the inside edge being scalloped. The scalloping on the edges is gorgeous, almost providing a delicate frame for my cleavage.

The straps of the chemise are very adjustable, though they're not removable. There are two little bows attached to the start of the straps in the front. The bows are not meant to be removable, and honestly, I think that you'd tear the chemise if you tried to remove them with a seam ripper. Don't worry though, the bows are very small, and cute.

The body of the chemise is designed so that it hugs your curves -- and that is exactly what it does. When you get to the lower portion, however, there is a sexy skirt that flares out. The skirt is meant to be loose fitting, and I loved the way that it skimmed over my bum. It's very sexy, and flirtatious in appearance.

Packaging:
This set arrived on a padded white hanger. This isn't a piece that I would hang up, but I was excited to see that it had a hanger. Other than the hanger, the only real packaging was the plastic bag that protected the chemise.

There was also a hang tag attached to the chemise. The hang tag is attached by a little gold safety pin. I hate that Coquette chose to attach the tag in this manner, as it could've easily put a hole through my new sexy chemise. In fact, it did leave a noticeable hole on the INSIDE of the chemise. The hole is not visible from the outside, so it's not a huge deal.

Quality:
The chemise is a little delicate, but over all the quality is amazing. I didn't notice a single loose thread, or seam.

All in all, I am giving this chemise 4 stars.
Follow-up commentary
I love this chemise, but I don't find that I get much use out of it. It's too innocent and sweet looking for my boyfriend to really enjoy. It's also very fragile, so it's not a piece that I wear often around him, as it wouldn't survive our play sessions. It's also just a little too sheer for me to wear it in private.

It's pretty, though, and I still recommend it.
