Definitely sexy, but still mixed feelings
Overall, I do enjoy this bustier; it's flattering and I like the design. With the bust fitting so oddly though, I need to do something to adjust the strap tightness and I think it will be a perfect fit. This may be something I could wear to the right event with the right cardigan or something. I think it is worth the money and is a good addition to my collection.

I've been looking to add some items that may be considered "technically lingerie" to my closet, but that could also be used outside the bedroom...on a daring day of course! I saw this and decided this could fit the criteria.
My order: Coquette Powernet bustier and g-string in size Large, color Black.
Design/Color/Details:
This bustier is made of 82% Nylon/18% Spandex, which is great because a little stretch never hurt anyone! You'll definitely appreciate the stretch that the item has due to it's construction. It has boning (5 total) that do have some give, but overall keep the structure of the bustier well. In between the boning you have panels of netting that are slightly see-through but by no means like fishnet, which I think makes this item a bit classier looking.
The back has two rows of eye hooks down the length of the entire garment, which keeps this securely on. I find that it's easiest to connect this many hooks by putting it on backwards, or at least to the side, and then sliding it in place. Sliding it in place can be a bit difficult, but the stretch that the item provides helps to ensure you can do this.
Along with the eye hooks on the back, the straps have the same closure behind the neck, which I think is a big negative on the design. There are 3 hooks total that can be used, but even on the most left (making it the tightest it can be) it is still is too loose. There either needed to be additional hooks or a completely different design for the neck. I would have preferred a simple tying of a knot/bow!
The straps are technically 3 pieces on each side that result into one piece near the neck, they are placed perfectly on the sides of the bust without looking out of place. The bust is made of a molded cup with a fairly thin lining. There is almost a sweetheart cut to the shape of the bust.
Lastly; the bustier does come with a set of garters that can be attached and removed as you see fit, which I do like. I prefer to be able to remove them altogether if I want to. They are standard garters and made decently well.
Besides the bustier, there were panties that accompanied this item that are basically your regular g-string. The real focus of this set is the bustier, the underwear feel like a toss in. There is nothing special to the underwear, and you'll find there is no panty liner.
Fit/Size:
I ordered a size Large in this item as my main concern is having the tops (both lingerie and not) fit my bust. And when it comes to sewn cups in the design, it's always a 50/50 shot!
My measurements are:
Height: 5'6
Frame: Medium
Bust: 34DD
Waist: 29
Hips: 40
Weight: 155-ish
Overall, the large fit pretty well. There is a decent amount of stretch that allows the bustier to hug my waist without cutting into my hips which is always a plus! Wearing it hooked on the most left set of hooks makes it just the right amount of tightness. The boning and amount of stitching makes this feel like a sturdy piece that will bring in your waist just a tad, without the lack of comfort that sometimes accompanies a true cinch.
With the body of the item fitting great, I did find the fit of the bust to be off. The straps were a bit too long and unable to adjust tighter due to the set hooks sewn in. The bust looks and feels too loose, causing my chest not to be as supported as I had hoped it would be. If the bust could be adjusted, it would be a perfect fit.
The garters are in your normal spots, above the butt and thighs and are very easy to attach.
The g-string that accompanied the bustier fits just fine; just the right amount of tightness, but I probably will not be wearing it that often. There isn't much to the underwear, but I will keep them as I do not just toss out perfectly fine panties!

good review, thanks maybe you'll be able to find a way to adjust/alter the bust in some way that works better for you.

I was wondering--are the straps you refer to kind of like halter straps--they are attached in front but not in back and tie around the neck? Thanks for a great review.

Thank you for the review! I may pass on this.
