Damn I feel sexy!
The combination of the red and black wetlook material with a lace overlay gives this dress a sexy look and feel that will be flattering to most body types. It is comfortable, functional and most of all, true to size. Aside from a few issues with the cup sizing, I had no problems with this dress and would recommend it to anyone - even someone who says this isn't their particular style.

Pros
True to size, sexy, unique
Cons
There was enough room in the cups for even my DD boobs to swim
Coquette's Wetlook Halter Dress is a sultry red and black wetlook material dress from their Darque collection. After purchasing other wetlook items, I feel in love with the look of the fabric and the way it made me feel incredibly sexy. I'm not usually a dress person, but I couldn't bring myself to pass this one up. It is available in size S, M, L and XL. This review is for size XL.
Quick Measurements:
Length (pit to bottom): 29 in.
Width (under breast): 16.5 in.
Tie-able portion of strap: 17 in., stretches to 24.5 in.
Entire strap: 23 in.
Cups: 9 in. wide, 6.5 in. tall
My Measurements:
Bra: 34/36 DD
Hips: 42 in.
Waist: 34 in.
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 180 lbs.
Once again, in typical fashion, Coquette's size chart is spot on for me. (Seriously, though - this is the only lingerie brand where I can confidently order an XL and have no fears!)
Here is the dress laid flat. It came to me on a plastic hanger enclosed within a plastic bag, which is not pictured. The plastic hanger would be ideal for storing the dress.
This dress is made of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex, exclusive of trim. Its care instructions are to hand wash only and hang to dry. I'd recommend using a lingerie wash or a mild soap for this garment. I haven't had to wash it yet, but when I do, that's what I will use.
Despite the fact that this dress is made of the wetlook material, it is surprisingly breathable... but it still did make me a bit toasty. I think the style of this dress (having your back, chest and arms open) helped a lot with keeping me relatively cool while wearing this. I didn't feel like I was suffocating in this, but it also wasn't as breezy as wearing a sundress.
Here is a photo of the inside fabric of the garment. It's pretty comfy!
Below are photos of the front panel of the dress, and the runching on the sides. The front panel of the dress is gorgeous. It's a red wetlook material with a black lace/flower overlay. I think the fact that it's "flat" in the middle and runched on the sides gives a nice, flattering form to my figure, especially as far as the waist/hips are concerned.
This dress is short, but not so short that it's unwearable. I am 5'5" and it covered my butt quite nicely. You definitely want to watch when you bend over in it, but it isn't too excessive.
Here I am in the dress. My apologies for the blur; that's what happens when you have your technologically-unsavvy mother take a picture for you. I also didn't put lotion on my legs prior to having this picture taken, so sorry about the ashy knees. I swear I'm usually more well put together than this.

Experience
I was very pleased with this dress. Unfortunately, due to my new medications, I've put on about 10-15 lbs (I'm still too scared to get on the scale to find out the exact number), but I've switched to a different medication so hopefully I will lose what I gained.
With that being said, this dress fit a little too snug in my tummy for my liking. It's still wearable - I just don't feel as comfortable in it as I could be. I suppose I could try wearing shapewear underneath, but the dress is so form fitting, I'm sure panty lines would be visible and that's definitely not a look I'm trying to go for.
In addition, my only other gripe about this garment is that the cups were a bit too large for my breats, despite the fact that I wear a DD. Which is good news for larger, fuller busted women. It still worked for me, but I found I had to constantly adjust/lift/squish them together to get the nice full cleavage look I was going for. Just a minor issue... it won't stop me from wearing this dress because aside from having a lot of extra room for the boobs, it sure does have fantastic bust support, which is something I need.
Overall, I am giving this dress 4/5 stars. I've deducted one star because the bust area seems a little bigger than what you'd usually see in an XL, and also the fact that one of the halter straps have already snagged and I've only put this dress on three times.
One of my best friends said it best when I asked her for her thoughts on this dress... "It's a cum magnet and worth every penny." (I bet the wetlook material would be easy to wipe off, too!)
