Cute If It Fits
The Prep School Girl costume by Coquette is a great price and terribly cute. Though it should be noted that there are no detachable straps like the product page states and there is also no giant pin on the skirt like the stock photo shows. I'm an XL so I went with the 1X/2X, which is far too big for me. I've worn a 1X/2X outfit by the same company and while it was baggy, it was workable. This outfit is not. I think it'd be a nice outfit for someone it actually fits properly.

Pros
Stretchy, comfortable, 4 piece outfit, length, cute, inexpensive.
Cons
sizes available, no shoulder straps, no skirt pin, loose threads.
The Prep School Girl costume by Coquette is available in sizes S/M, M/L, and 1X/2X. I usually wear a size XL but since that specific size isn’t offered, I went with the 1X/2X. I would rather have a bit of room in my outfit then it being too tight to the point it’s uncomfortable. I thought this would be a great outfit to wear in the bedroom but also as a costume out in public to a party or for Halloween.
The outfit arrived in a plastic package attached to a hanger. The bag has snap closures on it. There is a cardboard piece inside of the bag that states the company name, website, product name, size, colour, material composition, and contents of costume. There are also a few photos of a model wearing the outfit on the packaging. I store the outfit on a hanger in my closet and use the bag to store other items like special stockings, panties, lingerie, etc.
The outfit consists of four pieces: shrug sweater (with tie and collar attached), dress (white top with pink attached skirt), bra, and crotchless panty. The outfit is 80% nylon and 20% spandex. The outfit is stretchy and not sheer. The outfit does not become sheer the more it is stretched.
I’ve taken a few measurements of the outfit laying flat, unstretched. If you need any additional measurements, please message me and I will get them for you.
Panty
Waistband unstretched: 19 ¾ inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 38 inches
Widest part of material that covers your front area: 5 ½ inches
Length of crotchless slit: 4 inches
Bra
Cup length: 6 inches
Cup width: 6 ¾ inches
Length of ties (from centre bow outwards): 30 ½ inches each
Dress
Chest (armpit to armpit): 20 inches
Waist: 19 ¼ inches
Hips: 21 ¾ inches
Length of dress (armpit to bottom of skirt): 26 ½ inches
Length of skirt part of dress: 12 inches
Shrug Sweater
Width (armpit to armpit): 22 ¾ inches
Length of sleeves (armpit to bottom of cuff): 12 ¼ inches
Width of bottom of sleeve: 6 inches
Length of tie: 5 inches
The included panty is crotchless and a solid white colour. The material is not sheer. The crotchless slit begins approximately 4 ½ inches below the top centre front of the panty. There is a lengthy keyhole opening at the top centre back of the panty where your bum crack is. The keyhole opening is 3 inches in length and 1 inch wide when the panty is laying flat, not stretched. There is a pretty hot pink bow made of ribbon that sits right above the centre of the keyhole.
The bra is similar in appearance to the panty. It’s a thin white material. It’s not sheer but it will show nipple outline because of how thin the material is. You could always wear a pair of pasties to avoid this. There is no padding or underwire in the bra. The bra does not have shoulder straps. There are 2 stretchy straps on each side of the bra that tie behind the back. The cups can be slid around the straps to make the cups wider or thinner. You can see in the photo below that I’ve slid the left cup tightly.
The inner area of each cup has a keyhole cut out. The size of the cut out will depend on how you slide the cups along the straps (both bottom and top strap). There is a hot pink bow made of ribbon at the very centre between the keyhole areas.
The product page states that the dress has clear, removable straps. That is not the case for the outfit that I had received. I was a bit disappointed with this since I had to order a size larger and need the straps to hold the top up. The dress has no shoulder straps so it’s tube-top style. The material is thin so you may want to wear a bra or pasties beneath the top if you’re concerned about nipple outline.
The top of the dress is white in colour with 8 white, glossy buttons running down the centre front of the dress. The buttons have metal snap closures. The buttons have a diameter of just less than ½ an inch each and they sit approximately 1 ½ inches from the next.
The dress cannot be adjusted in width except by stretching it to make it wider. The skirt is a pale pink and dark pink colour with an argyle pattern. The stock photo shows the skirt with a large pin attached to it (looks like an oversized safety pin). This pin is not included with this outfit.

Experience
...continued
The collar and tie are attached to the shrug. The collar is white with the tie matching the pink argyle from the skirt. The shrug is grey with a patch on the chest that is 2 ½ inches in length and just over 2 inches at its widest. The patch and tie have quite a few loose threads but these can be cut off.
The only closure to the shrug is a square Velcro piece that sits behind the tie. The Velcro piece is 1 ¼ inches wide so there is a bit of room for width adjustment. The width of the neck area when the Velcro is done up fully is 9 ½ inches.
I had planned on taking photos of me wearing the outer outfit but it’s too large for me. When I tried the outfit on, it would fall to my feet if I didn’t hold it up. Coquettes sizing is really odd sometimes. For example, I wore a size L/XL costume by the company and it was way too small for me. Then I wore the Alice outfit in 1X/2X and it was a bit large but workable. This outfit is 1X/2X and far, far too large for me.
My C cups, even with an extremely padded bra are far too small for the outfit. I would say it would be best for an E cup. My hip measurement is 41 inches. I could probably fit two of myself in the hip area of the outfit. I'm 5'6 and the length of the skirt falls right above my knee. The length makes it perfect to wear out in public without feeling exposed.
Typically XL outfits fit me best but as I mentioned at the beginning of the review, this outfit isn’t offered in the size XL. Even if I added shoulder straps to the outfit, it would still be far too big for me. The M/L would (probably) be too tight on me and the 1X/2X is far too big. So if you wear an XL like me, you’re out of luck.
Other then the outfit being really baggy on me, the material was comfortable and non-irritating to the skin. The care tag states that the outfit should be hand washed and hung to dry.
I've given the outfit a 3 out of 5 because I think it'll work great if they offer your size and it actually fits you properly. I've deducted the two star for a few reasons: the crappy sizing selection, there is no pin or clear detachable shoulder straps included, and the few loose threadings to the outfit.

The Prep School Girl outfit isn't bad... it's just not for me. I ended up giving it to a friend and it fits her perfectly. Her chest is much larger than my own. She really loves it!
