This babydoll set from DreamGirl is very cute, and I thought that it would be a nice addition to my collection, since most of my lingerie isn't comfortable enough to sleep in. The robe and babydoll look nice in the ad, so I was excited to try them. They arrived on a hanger together inside a protective plastic covering. When I removed the robe from the hanger, I could tell that the nightgown underneath was just a plain chemise, and not really a babydoll. This didn't bother me, since I was just getting them to sleep in, and I was more worried about the robe in the first place. I wanted to know if the robe would replace my old beat up one, and if I could wear it with other pieces.

I ordered the set in a 3X/4X, even though I usually wear an XL or a 1X, because I wanted it to be big enough to be comfortable. The tie on the back of the chemise is kind of funky, but it makes it easy to adjust. The straps are laced through a loop on the back of the gown, and then come together in the middle of your back so that they can be tightened or loosened. I decided it would be easiest to tie the back very loosely so that I could just wiggle into it, and not have to worry about tying it after it was on. Turns out, even when tied loosely, this thing is not easy to get on. It fit me just fine, but it hangs off of me very awkwardly, and it makes my breasts look kind of weird. I tried tying it tighter, but it only looks worse. The robe fit great though, and I really like the way it complements my figure. I usually wear it over other pieces, and pretty much haven't touched the chemise since it initially arrived.

Considering that I only wear the robe, I still think that this set was a great buy, since it is very comfortable, and I wear it all the time. I'm glad I got black, because it matches lots of the other pieces that I already have, and it's comfortable enough to wear with just underwear underneath when I'm sneaking to the bathroom at night, or whatnot. I was a little disappointed about the chemise, but that's not the main reason I bought the set, so it's okay.

I love the robe, and have continued to use it on a fairly regular basis. Both the robe and chemise are made of Polyester, so it is suggested that you hand wash and hang dry the set, but I wash mine on Cold and Dry it on Delicate, and I've had no problems with the 7 or 8 washes that I've done already. The robe lasts really nicely, since there aren't any loose threads or seams yet, and I've had it for weeks.
