Cute, but I wouldn't call them "crotchless".
For an XL by Coquette, these fit great. They're soft, stretchy, comfortable, and a gorgeous shade of red. Plus they're a fantastic deal for the price. But they're not REALLY crotchless. You may require scissors to even make them come close.

Pros
Soft lace, stretchy, great fit.
Cons
Not truly crotchless, a little too low cut for those needing the XL size.
These panties from Coquette are actually impressive... for the most part. For the price, they are soft, stretchy, and quite fetching. However, the construction of the "crotchless" area is a little wonky.
The fit is fantastic for something by Coquette. I have only one other piece by Coquette, and their sizing runs small at best. I was wary when I ordered the size XL in these panties, half expecting them to not even come up over my butt. I've got what I like to call the "mom body", which means that little saggy pooch at my tummy leaves me inconveniently between a size 12 and 14 in jeans (between a 34-36 waist in men's sizes... yes, I wear dude pants). Surprisingly, they fit me fabulously, and I got them up over my big butt and hips with minimal use of the "stretchy" feature. They are a little lower rise than I'd prefer usually, but they're supposed to be racy, right? Since the rise is so low, either you're going to have half your ass hanging out the back, thus rendering the thong styling a little unnecessary, or you're going to be pulling a "front floss" sort of deal.
The "crotchless" portion of the panty was... odd. First of all, the stitching that runs along the leg to join the triangular front before the crotchless part went way too far on the pair I received, and I had to use scissors to free some of the crotch opening. Basically, it's two strips of lace, sewn on top of one another, creating more of an open crotch envelope effect. Really, the pieces of lace would be better served sewn next to one another to make a slit. However, they're on top of one another, so you're going to have to move lace out of the way no matter what. In fact, my husband was almost clueless to the fact they were even crotchless in the first place, thinking it was just more of a thicker thong sort of deal, and moved it to the side while we were fooling around. I pointed out the feature, and we tried to utilize it, but the bottom layer of lace strips just kept getting in the way again, so it was more pointless than useful.

Experience
Alas, my quest for a great crotchless panty is foiled yet again. These are still cute as a thong, and they are quite a lovely shade of red, so they'll stay in my rotation. Plus, they actually fit me, which makes me happy. But if you're looking for the true experience of crotchless panties, these aren't it.

Great review! Too bad about these I had them on my wishlist. I love the crotchless panties that are, well, crotchless! Lol. Defeats the purpose if they don't work out. I hate that they weren't better for you, but it's good that you got an extra thong out of it. I too am on the hunt for a great pair of crotchless undies... I guess my hunt will continue as well.
