This gorgeous Coquette garter belt arrived on my doorstep two days before I was moving out of the state so, needless to say, I was pretty excited. I immediately wore it once I got the box open (the hardest part of it all), and found the garter belt inside of a small, plastic baggy with a piece of cardboard showing the stock photo, like almost every single piece of lingerie ever invented.

Upon opening the package, I was slightly surprised with the color. In the photos on EF, it looks almost an off-white color. However, I found it to be almost nude-which is gorgeous, but just not what I was expecting. I also thought that the lace pattern would just be a print on the garter belt, but here was another pleasant surprise, as well! The lace is a separate layer of fabric, which gives this piece so much more depth and makes it look so much more expensive than it really is.

The belt adjusts to your size on the back, almost like a bra strap. It is another one size fits most piece, but I'd definitely think that a medium on the larger size could probably fit into this, which is very surprising for one size fits all pieces.

I was slightly disappointed with the length of the garters, and I'm a short person. 5 foot 1 on a good day, I was hoping that these garters would fall to the lower part of my thigh, but they did not. If you're on the taller end of the height scale, you unfortunately would be better off skipping these.

This piece is made of nylon and spandex with a floral lace pattern, if you can't tell from the stock photo, like me. I found the ribbons on the snaps to be a bit annoying, but mostly because they don't lay flat and they kind of just go where they want. They also tend to get in the way when you're actually strapping your hose on, too. Another small con about this garter belt is the snaps themselves. Rather than being a durable metal, they are plastic with a rubber button/stopper thing. It cheapens it a bit, to me.

I kept reading that everyone had to keep readjusting the size and their garters during wear, but I never had to do any of that; maybe I just got lucky and this thing fit me perfectly? Who knows. I had zero troubles with readjusting, and I wore it around all day until bed underneath my shorts.

I personally do not wash sensitive stuff like this. I'm young and just really have no idea what I'm doing, and it doesn't get dirty, so I don't wash it. That may be the scummy side of me, but I just see no need to put such delicate clothing through something that could potentially ruin it if there's nothing messy on it.

I'm glad to say that I'm still in love with this garter belt! I have found that it tends to move slightly during wear, and that the garters will sometimes need adjusting, depending on how active you're being. Other than that, it's still as amazing as it was the day I got it! It's gorgeous, and still in perfect shape. I have yet to notice a loose thread on this piece.
