Control Top? That's Exactly What I Need!
The Control Top Jacquard Pantyhose by Baci are a nice pair of pantyhose to add to your collection. The control top part of these pantyhose will not magically transform you, though it will make your middle area look smoother underneath a dress/shirt, etc. I'm happy with these pantyhose.

Pros
inexpensive, nice pattern, stretchy, comfortable, control top.
Cons
no larger sizes available.
The Control Top Jacquard Pantyhose by Baci are available only in one-size-fits-most. I usually wear a size XL, though I’ve been able to fit into most Baci pantyhose that I’ve purchased in the past.
The pantyhose are packaged in a thin, cardboard box. The front of the box states the company website and has a photo of a model wearing the pantyhose. The back of the box has a back view of a model in the pantyhose, states the product name, size, material composition, and care instructions. The stockings do not have a care tag in them so you may want to keep the packaging for the care instructions.
Inside of the box, the pantyhose are in a plastic bag. The pantyhose are wrapped around a thin piece of cardboard. You could keep the pantyhose in the box packaging, though I usually just keep my pantyhose in my sock/underwear drawer.
The pantyhose are 95% nylon and 5% spandex. Like most pantyhose, they are extremely stretchy. I’ve taken a few measurements of the pantyhose but if you need additional measurements, please feel free to send me a message and I can get them for you.
Waistband unstretched: 8 inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 26 ½ inches
Length: much more than 60 inches (I could only stretch so far)
The waistband is a double layer of material and is approximately 1 ¼ inches. Beneath the band, there is approximately 8 ¾ inches of solid black pantyhose. The more you need to stretch the pantyhose, the more sheer this area becomes. The rest of the pantyhose are criss-cross patterned. The toe area of the stockings is reinforced. There is no lining in the crotch area of these pantyhose.
The pantyhose material is very comfortable against the skin and I do not have any complaints about irritation/bothersome to my skin. The packaging states that the pantyhose should be hand washed separately in cold water and line dried. The pantyhose should not be bleached.
The “control-top” part of these pantyhose didn’t seem to do anything much different than my regular pantyhose. Control top pantyhose are supposed to give extra support to your buttocks as well as your belly. I’m 5’6 and I’m able to pull the pantyhose above my belly button, though with most pantyhose I can do this. I’ll usually pull my pantyhose above my bellybutton just so it gives a slimmer look when I’m wearing dresses, etc regardless if they are “control top” or not. A person a few inches taller or shorter than me should not have a problem with these pantyhose.
The “control top” works as well as any lengthy pantyhose on me. It doesn’t do anything magical, though underneath a dress or similar item, it makes a pudgy belly look much smoother underneath an outfit (compared to nothing underneath). This to me is fantastic because I’ve got some pudge that I’d rather wasn’t the main attraction of my outfit.
I’m size XL but was able to fit comfortable into these pantyhose. The waistband of the pantyhose was not painful or suffocating in any way because of how stretchy it is. The pantyhose did not snag while I put them on, but you should always be careful when putting pantyhose on, especially if you have longer nails. Below you can see a front view and side view of the pantyhose on me (excuse the messy background).
Overall, I’m happy with these pantyhose. I like the pattern to them, they fit nicely, and they are comfortable. There really wasn’t anything I could find to complain about, though it is a shame they aren’t available in plus sizes.
