I'm a fan of comfort, and really only wear lingerie to entice my boyfriend (as I suspect many women do). I normally sleep in the requisite oversized, worn out t-shirt. So I was very happy with the comfort factor of this babydoll as emphasized in the title. It is comfy, cute, and not too girly with the overall dot pattern only accented with flowerly lace on the cups, and the band below the bust. I chose the lavender color at my boyfriend's request and thought it lovely. Most of my gripes with this item were related to the fit as described below. Perhaps it's the item, or the line, or simply the size chart, but please read my comments if you're not sure where you should fall in the size chart.

Another major benefit of this item is it is so easy to launder because the fabic is so sheer and not a dark color that puts you at risk of it bleeding. I've washed it in a lingerie bag on delicate in the washing machine and I've washed it in the sink with shampoo in a pinch. The lightweight fabic should be line dried, and it dries very quickly. This ease of care makes it a great travel option, and it will fit anywhere as you can practically ball the whole thing up in your fist.

This is not a great choice for a gift unless you intend to repackage the item. Mine arrived on a hanger with a tag, and a very flimsy plastic bag over the whole thing that had gotten torn in transit. It frankly looked cheap.

Relative to the quality of the item and the anticipated lifespan, I think the price is reasonable. You probably won't have it forever, but with care in use and laundering, it will last until somebody rips it in the heat of the moment.

I seriously cannot get over the fit issues I experienced once I went back and reviewed the size chart for this line on the website. I am 5' 7" and weigh 135. I have a bit of a boyish figure, usually wear a size 8, and have hardly any boobs to speak of after a breast reduction (I used to weigh more). They are now a B cup at best. The sizing information for the Escante line described a medium as fitting sizes 6-10, a B-C cup, and weight range of 120 lbs-140 lbs. So I was worried that I was toward the upper range for weight. But in spite of the adjustable straps, which help a little, I had trouble getting this to stay in place on my boobs. The "band" that should sit below your boobs doesn't have enough stretch to keep it in place and has no adjustment. Also, the cups seemed much smaller than the given range. My little boobs were just covered. If you were a C cup there is no way it would work unless you wanted a lot of spillage. There isn't enough pressure unless it's fitting you way too tightly to give you anything approaching cleavage. The model has to have fake boobs to get the look she does.

The thong was also puzzling. Looking at the picture again I can see the model is wearing it higher up because of where the panty lining is visible. She must be quite petite because if I tried to wear it adjusted so I would have no pubic coverage whatsoever and would be sporting a very unattractive camel-toe wedgie. As I said, some weight loss has left me a less than flat stomach, but I think well within the norm for an average woman of my weight. More frustrating was the thong's construction. I've never received one that the T in the back wasn't sewn together. This panty has the thong part connected to the back with a little loop. This led to endless tangles after taking off the panties, trying to put them on, or after laundering. I kept bracing the panties with my foot and then using both hands to straighten then out. I'm probably going to sew it some evening.

The skirt part does flow quite prettily and has a nice see through look as shown, but it ended higher on my thighs. My boyfriend actually picked this out of a list of options I gave him due to the color and sheerness and he seemed pretty happy with the visual effect. I know I notice fit issues more than he does as I primp and preen, and then he takes them off within five minutes.

Still a good, go-to item. My boyfriend loves the color as its sweet color is good for that innocent, girl next door fantasy. It's a bit clingy on my chubby days but he doesn't really notice.
