Comfortable Looking Like a Bad Ass
The Wet Look Capri Pants by Coquette are stretchy and comfortable to wear. I'd have no problem wearing these all day. The only issue with wearing the pants is that I had to pull up the back a few times so my bum crack wasn't exposed. I have a rather large bum so this may not be an issue for you. My partner loves the look of these pants on me and I like them as well. I would recommend the pants to others.

Pros
Inexpensive, stretchy, comfortable, quality, sexy wet-look.
Cons
risk of bum crack exposure, waistband is less stretchy than material to pants.
The Wet Look Capri Pants by Coquette are available in sizes S-1X/2X. I purchased the size XL. The pants arrived attached to a plastic hanger surrounded by plastic. The only information on the bag was on a small barcode sticker. The sticker states the size and colour of the product. The hanger would be excellent to use to store the pants when they’re not being worn.
There was a cardboard tag attached to the pants that stated the company name, company website, pant size, and colour. There were also a few photos of a model wearing the pants on the tag.
The pants are 80% nylon and 20% spandex. The pants are all black in colour. The material to the pants is stretchy and the waistband is elastic band. The pants do not become sheer when they are stretched.
I’ve taken measurements of the pants laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements let me know and I will get them for you.
Waistband unstretched: 17 inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 27 inches
Waistband length: 1 1/8 inch
Length from top of waistband to end of crotch (down centre front): 7 inches
Length from top of waistband down to end of bum (taken down centre back): 9 inches
Length of leg (taken down side of pants): 24 ½ inches
Width of bottom of pant leg: 7 inches
The waistband is thicker than the rest of the pants because there is a thick elastic band behind the material. With the material of the pants being opaque, they’d be perfect to wear out in public. I purchased them to wear out in public but I’m sure they’d make a lovely bedroom addition as well.
Since these pants are actually a Capri, they don’t go all the way down to your ankle (unless you are shorter). As mentioned, the length of the pant leg is 24 inches and that is from the top of the waistband. If you’re wondering where they will sit on your leg, just take a measuring tape and place the top of the tape where you’d typically wear a waistband to your pants. Then, pull the tape down 24 inches. This is roughly where the bottom of the Capri leg will sit on you.
My biggest worry with getting these Capri was that they would make my gigantic thighs shiny, making them appear even larger than they already are. My legs are quite thick and I’ve got a bigger bum. The pants fit me well but I did notice that I had to pull up the back of the pants a few times while I wore them so my bum crack wasn’t exposed. I assume this happened because my bum a bit larger.
So I’m 5’6 in height and the bottom of the pant fell below my knee a few inches. The pants were really comfortable to wear and the material does not irritate the skin. I also didn’t experience any sweatiness from the material. It’s quite thin and shouldn’t make you heat up more than any regular pair of pants/Capri. Below you can see a front and back view of me wearing the pants. You can see my larger bum and how the shininess of the material makes it look even bigger. My partner likes this but you may not enjoy highlighting this area.
Underwear lines can and will be seen through the material because it’s so thin and tight. One issue I had with the pants is that the waistband is less stretchy than the material of the pants. This might not be an issue for everybody but it was an issue for me and I’ll explain why.
I have a hip measurement of 41 inches and my love handles are rather chunky. The waistband holds to my hips nicely but since the waistband has less stretch than the material beneath it, it creates a dip into my fat. I figured this would be easier seen than read so I’ve circled the area I’m explaining in the photo below.
You can see in that circled area that it’s not a terrible issue, but you can see the bit of dip created by the waistband being less stretchy. I also don’t like how my inner upper thighs look with the wet look but I plan on wearing these Capri with a longer top so that both areas are covered.

Experience

The care tag states that the pants should be hand washed and I’m going to make the assumption that they should be hung to dry or flat dried (laid flat). This material likes to hold wrinkles so that’s why I made that assumption.
Overall, I think the pants are an excellent price, comfortable to wear, and look great on. There were those few minor issues I had with the pants but not everyone will experience these specific issues. I’ve combined all of the minor issues and deducted one star from the rating for this.
