Come Sit on Santa's Lap
Wear it for a photo shoot, a quick tease or as a costume at a party where you don't intend to move around a whole lot. You'll look precious and sexy at the same time, but heed my advice to make the fit more comfortable.

Pros
Cute, easy on and off, well constructed, durable.
Cons
Some modifications needed for comfort, not for extended wear.
It's nothing short of adorable, and for a girl comfortable showing off her body, this is an absolute winner. It's cute, festive and generally comfortable. Toss on a pair of cheery holiday leggings and it's even rather warm. Although if you wear this around your partner (or someone you'd like to convince to be your partner), you'll get plenty warm anyway.
My first wear of the Velvet Santa Costume was enjoyable but mildly taxing. As cute as it was, it wasn't the most comfortable fit around my legs. The tiny little shorts, which you ought to prepare yourself to spend the night removing from your butt crack, had beautiful boa material all the way around the circumference of each thigh. This made for a lovely, Christmas-y look, but it meant the smallest amount of leg flexing was hindered by the inflexibility of the boa. The shorts materials itself was perfectly flexible, however. So after snipping the boa with a pair of scissors on the inside of each thigh, allowing the fabric to move more freely, it was a far superior fit. And while the white boa material wrapped around the thighs was no longer preventing my movement, it still got EVERYWHERE, so there was that.
The top was immediately comfortable. It slips on as easily as anything can and ties with a bow in the front. It can be worn alone or with a bra and looks completely cute either way. The hood comes up to create a face-shaping (and body warming) effect or can be worn down: both look quite charming. Again, boa material accents the outline and though you can expect to be cleaning little white feathers for awhile afterward, it's definitely worth it for the look.
If you're worried about sizing: let me give you a heads up that for me (a big booty, small boobed girl), I'd have picked a slightly smaller top or slightly bigger bottoms. Everything certainly fit me in the medium range, but if you're a big chested girl, you may not need the large size if your butt is small.
One further snag appeared with continued wear: the elastic around the upper arms gave me a nice rug burn because I moved around so much. If you just plan on slipping this thing on, prancing around adorably for a few minutes or remaining relatively motionless in the upper body, you'll be just fine. You'll probably be fine if you have tiny little arms. But I don't and I didn't stay still and after an hour of dancing around I was in serious pain that didn't go away until I changed clothes. It was not unlike what sometimes happens when you go running and the hem of a tank top rubs against your inner bicep area over and over again.
It was an enjoyable outfit and made for good pictures of darling ass shots. The costume slides off and on with unbeatable ease, a sure concern of many Eden shoppers. It wasn't, however, designed to be worn during extended physical activity, so keep that in mind.

Follow-up commentary

I still love this number- the changes I made to it were critical to this continued enjoyment. Were it not for the modifications to the boa material around the leg, it would be impossible to enjoy long-term. Unless, of course, you have already thin legs. But for us gals with muscular definition or just a little more to love in the thigh, it could get uncomfortable.
Speaking of boa material: if you plan to wear this multiple times or in conditions where it might get wet (i.e. sweat), expect to have to replace it with new maribou. The boa material is not designed to live forever and it certainly can't handle the washing machine.
