Cheap, Chic and Cheeky!
We all know one size never fits most. But, if you manage to fit within the size range that this flirty little outfit *does* fit, then you will love it! It's very flattering on the right shape, and shows just enough to get your partner's attention. The clincher will certainly be the price for all of the frugalista's out there. Who says you can't look sexy in a bad economy?

Pros
Inexpensive, feminine, fits a decent range of sizes
Cons
Attached panty, Bottoms ride very low and run somewhat small.
I've purchased a lot of Leg Avenue products before, and since I'm able to fit in them, I'm usually very satisfied with the results- especially for the price! This sheer little number was no exception. If you're looking for a cute, ultra-feminine set, that won't break the bank, look no further! (Of course, after you finish reading and make sure it will work for you, but you already knew that!)
The Polka dot mesh bikini and rhumba skirt consists of two pieces: a halter-style top and a skirt with attached panty for the bottom. It is black, with baby pink polka dots and bows, which add a retro pin-up girl flair.
The halter top gathers in the middle and is accented by a baby pink bow. The top edges of the halter are trimmed in a lacy fishnet material, which adds to the feminine appeal. The back has 3 settings with double hook and eye closures, which is one of the most well crafted parts of this set. The neck ties are a bit flimsy, however, and will prove troublesome for those with saggier or larger breasts. Worn over longer periods of time, they could cut into your neck. I didn't find it to be terribly uncomfortable, but it didn't stay on very long. Since my breasts are on the largest end of the spectrum that will fit in this set, I'm sure it would be a problem after a while of long term wear. If you are looking to amp up your cleavage, look elsewhere. The top is a full-coverage triangle style which will provide little to no support. It frames your breasts nicely, but if you don't like where your girls naturally sit, then this outfit is not for you.
The bottom is a skirt, which has attached bikini style panties. This was one of the major drawbacks in my opinion, and my boyfriend's opinion, for that matter. I would have liked this set a lot more if the panty were a separate piece. It would allow for more placement control, and would most likely fit a larger range of sizes, as the skirt and panty could be adjusted separately. Also, the more pieces to take off, (or leave on!) the better. The top of the skirt is trimmed in the same fishnet lace as the halter top. The back of the panties have three layers of baby pink lace which add a ruffle effect. The skirt opens in the back to reveal the lace "rhumba" ruffles, and the opening is topped with a pink bow. The front of the skirt dips very low, and has two pink bows in the middle, which you'll find are placed on either side of where the panty is attached if you lift the skirt up. Where the panties are attached to the skirt had a tendency to sit a bit weird, almost as if it was trying to fold upwards. It isn't terribly noticeable, and odds are it's most likely just a defect on my particular set. The panty, unlike the halter top, is definitely not full coverage. If you have a little junk in the trunk, you'll certainly be showing off some cheek. Who says that's a bad thing, though?
This set is made of 100% nylon, which is very sheer. Your nipples will most certainly be visible, despite the polka dots. The panties have a good quality lining, so your labia will not be on display. While it doesn't feel as smooth as nylon pantyhose to the touch, it does not irritate the skin when worn. The tag suggests to hand wash in cold water with no bleach, and tumble dry on low. I most certainly agree with the washing procedure, but I would suggest letting this air dry instead. It won't take long at all since the fabric is so sheer, and it will prevent any unwanted snagging, running, or any other horrible things that the dryer can do to delicates.
According to the size chart on Leg Avenue's website, their One Size products will fit as follows-
Bust: 32-38 inches
Waist: 23-29 inches
Hips: 34-40 inches
Dress Size: 6-12
Cup Size: A-C
However, their products tend to run small, and this set is no exception. As with most "One size fits most" products, it's more like "one size will fit a decent range of smaller women."

Experience
I weigh approximately 130 lbs, with a 34D bust, 25" waist, and 38" hips. The top fits pretty well, but I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone with larger breasts, or breasts that are a bit saggy to wear this. I wore it with the hook and eye closures on the tightest setting, so thankfully it is accommodating for women with somewhat larger backs. The halter straps are flimsy, so if you have a D cup or higher, it will most likely cause your neck to be somewhat sore. I haven't worn this set for very long periods of time, so I was able to wear it somewhat comfortably despite my larger chest, but I don't think it's something I'd want to wear for an extended period of time. Thankfully, being lingerie, it's not necessary that it be on for long at all!
The bottom, however is a bit of a small fit. It sits very low in the front, and if you have pubic hair, it will most likely peek out a bit. Also, since my butt is on the bubbly side, the lace back panties tend to get- erm- swallowed, if you will, which makes them slightly uneven looking, unless I adjust constantly. I think this style bottom would be most flattering on girls with smaller butts, as the lace will add a little more oomph.
In my opinion, this set would fit a smaller range of women than Leg Avenue claims. I've based this off of the way it fit me, and made some minor tweaks to their sizing charts.
Jesibel's Revised Size Chart
Bust: 34-38 inches
I wore the top on the smallest setting, and I have a 34inch band. Anyone with a smaller back would feel like they're going to fall out at any given moment, which we all know isn't sexy.
Waist: This part doesn't matter, woohoo!
Hips: 32-38/39 inches
I changed this to accommodate women with smaller hips, because the bottoms definitely run smaller than Leg Avenue claims. I honestly don't think a woman with 40 inch hips could wear these comfortably, and even a woman with 39 inch hips may not like the way it rides up a bit. It all depends on how much booty you feel comfortable exposing.
Dress Size: 4-10
This set is definitely more suited for smaller women. A woman who is a size 12 would not feel sexy in this outfit because it simply wouldn't sit well on her curves, if at all.
Cup Size: B-D
I have D cups, and it fit just fine. Based on the amount of room provided in the top, a woman with A cups wouldn't be able to fill it out very well.
This cute little outfit is a good buy as long as you're able to fit in it! It's sure to please your man, and make you feel super flirty in the process. If you're on the smaller side of the spectrum, because let's face it, the average woman is not what Leg Avenue considers average, then you'll most likely be able to strut your stuff in it! Slip on a pair of sexy heels and you're all set to seduce your man- or woman- retro style.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
While I don't exactly wear this outfit all the time, I still think it's adorable. The couple of times I have had to wash it, I handwashed it in luke-warm water and let it air dry, and it still looks as good as new. It will never be my favorite little number, because it lacks support, but it's still a nice piece to have in my arsenal of lingerie if I'm feeling especially girly and retro.
