Cha-Cha Tu-Tu Not My Size Poo-Poo!
Overall, I'm a little disappointed. Firstly, I really wanted the skirt to fit. Secondly, I wanted it to be well-made enough not to be coming apart when it had just arrived. I was really excited about this cute little thing. I often wear tutu's and little skirts like this around the house and over my bathing suits during the summer. Coquette is minus one in my book, and even if it hadn't fit, all they really had to do was make a product that didn't fall apart.

- Already coming apart

The Mini Cha Cha Skirt from Coquette comes in OSFM (on size fits most). This is quite unfortunate, mainly because it didn't fit me. However, it's still an adorable little piece of tutu-ish get-up. I just couldn't help myself. I really do wish it were bigger! I would also be happier if it weren't falling apart. I've had this wishlisted for quite a while, which makes this an even bigger disappointment.
Here's some stats to help you figure out if this darling little get-up might be for you:
Coquette's OSFM Measurement for the hips is 36-42 inches.
The actual skirt measurement is:
Unstretched: 31 inches
Stretched: 42.5
My model has a hip measurement of 33 inches around.
The Mini Cha Cha skirt is made up of two materials: organza and polyester. It's put together like a trifle:
1. a 4 inch strip of organza
2. a 3.5 inch space of polyester
3. a 4 inch strip of organza
4. a 3 inch space of polyester
5. a 4 inch strip of organza
6. a 2.5 inch space of polyester
If worn pulled down, you get the following effect:
However, the skirt isn't going to stay like that. It rides up so plan on wearing cute panties. Here's how it looks when all bunched up, tutu-style.
I'm already noticing where the organza is coming away from the trim in two places! Hey Coquette, what's that all about?!
Cleaning says: hand wash only - hang to dry. I would abide by those rules, given the materials.
The Mini Cha Cha Skirt came covered in a thick plastic hanging bag with a Coquette paper advertisement over the hanger. Once the skirt is all poofed out, the packaging wouldn't be a good place to store your skirt as it would mush down the material. I think hanging it up on a hanger would be your best bet.

Follow-up commentary

I still don't like it as a skirt. I do like it as a frilly, decorative ruffle around a stool that I repurposed it as.
As a skirt it didn't fit correctly. It bunched up and rode up to showed your panties. Unfortunately, it was already falling apart as well. Stock photo be damned. I wasn't going to allow this one to be a total waste, so I wrapped it around a black stool and people love it.
While I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, I tried to at least make something out of it!
