Can You Keep Them Up?
These stockings are definitely some of the most gorgeous pairs I've ever come across. I want to love them more, but sizing problems bring down my overall satisfaction with them.

Even if you can't afford lingerie, gorgeous accessories can help you feel more beautiful than usual. I can definitely say that these stockings would've certainly had made me feel beautiful... If they had fit properly, that is.
Don't get me wrong. Leg Avenue certainly did a great job on these stockings. The satin bows do not fray the ruffles are cute, and the pearl strings don't add a gawky factor to the overall product. The actual stocking is incredibly soft and the nylon material does not itch. While this would probably be good for any bedroom romp, I could definitely see these being especially suitable on a wedding night. These look very romantic, that's for sure.
But appearance is only one factor in an overall grade. As a plus sized girl, I was hoping that these one-size stockings would fit despite how Leg Avenue's one size products only accompany sizes small-large. I can tell you that I'm far from the 90-160 pound size limit these tights have. It's not like it was a total unrealistic expectation: I've been able to fit in "large" size accessories without extreme discomfort.
The good news is that I managed to get through them without any running, tearing, or any other sort of nylon mutilation. I also managed to get them up my legs. When I looked in the mirror, the stockings themselves looked cute on me.
Now the bad news: if you are a petite girl (I'm 5'2"), these stockings are way too long. They would have gone right at my crotch if I pulled them all the way up. And even then, I would have needed a garter to keep them up. That's right---these things love to fall. Who's going to feel sexy when they have to stoop down and pull their tights up every time they take a step? I wouldn't!
These are really nice, but I can't totally love them solely for the sizing and falling. You may want to look for other stockings, or use a garter belt if you do buy these.

I have not worn these again since the review. They're still a five out of five on the adorable scale, but that alone is not enough. Plus size readers beware. This will be a waste of your money if you buy a pair.

Thank you for viewing Ruffle top stockings with satin bow and pearls – stockings discontinued review page!
Anyways, I enjoyed your review and became VERY interested in these when I read about the pearls, but then my hopes were shot down because I too am 5 2" so there's no chance in heck they'd stay up on my short legs. Better luck on the next ones.
