Bringing Sexy Back
WOW! I really didn't expect this gown to be as pretty as it is, the pictures on line do not do this piece justice. The sparkles, lace and ribbons are beautiful feminine touches that make this gown elegant and sexy.

Pros
Great quality, reasonably price, sexy as hell
Cons
G-String poorly made.
When I saw this I knew this was the one for me. This was my first time ordering lingerie in a long time. After losing quite a bit of weight I was very eager to start dressing sexy again, while not showing off to much. This was perfect. The mesh gave me the right amount of coverage I was looking for without feeling "naked" and the satin was in just the right spots, for that feminine touch.
This sexy black little number came in a clear plastic resealable package that was wrapped up in pink tissue paper. It contained both the Satin/Mesh empire gown and a black thong made by Coquette. The label attached to it shows a model in different poses showing off the front, back and side of gown.
Ordering was a bit of a challenge for me, being I have not ordered anything like this in a long time. So I used the sizing chart the company provides and ordered myself a large. Their large is for sizes 12-14, C cup 38-40", Waist 30-32", Hips 40-42. After trying it on (fingers crossed, of course) I realized the fit was perfect! Their sizing chart is pretty accurate, as far as this item is concerned. I would say this item will fit those who fall into the smaller side of large. The G-string was another story, but that was probably because the material had no bend, movement nothing and the cut, not very flattering. Well enough with the stiff hanky G's.
Coquette offers a wide variety of sizes, but right now these are the two sizes in stock:
Small 4-6, B Cup 34-38" Waist 26-28" Hips 36-38"
XL 14-16, D Cup 42-44 Waist 34-36" Hips 44-46"
This set is made with black nylon and spandex. It seems to hold up very well. I've pulled at the mesh and ran my nails along it to see if it would snag and nothing happened. The top area of the gown is satiny with padding and under wire for an extra perfect fit and lift. It really perked the "girls" up rather nicely, I might add. The cups themselves are decorated with gathered nylon and sparkles for the trim, that seems to be sewn on pretty well. Just under that is a satin strip. Here is a picture of the front view . The shoulder straps are made with the satin trimming as well and are adjustable. Now for the part that makes this gown even hotter, the back. It is a keyhole back with a satin ribbon lace up, which is fully adjustable making it nice to fit as tight or as loose as needed. I also included a picture of the back view so you can see what I mean. The rest of the gown from underneath the bra area down is made out of a nylon mesh material. The mesh part of the gown is see through enough to make you look hot while diminishing some of your not so favorite skin flaws. For the length, it made it down to about the top of my ankles ( I'm about 5'4") and has a sexy upper thigh slit up the right side. On me the slit ended about 2" below my hipbone.
Now for the downer, but a fixable downer. The G-string. It is just plain, well, terrible. The fit was not the best and the material is stiff and poorly stitched. Like something you make in sewing class in high school. Seriously, not user friendly at least not for me. I did have a back up pair that I used instead.
Because of the sewn on sparkles, I decided to hand wash and line dry this item, but I have also put it in the washer in a lingerie bag, on gentle cycle and it was fine. I also used Woolite each time. There were no instructions on the care. As far as storage, I just hung this in my closet on a pretty hanger. But, you can also store it in a drawer with your other intimates.

Experience
My personal experience with this empire gown was absolutely great! The first time I wore this, it was not on for to long. The next time I wore it was for about an hour and I must say that there is nothing itchy scratchy or irritating about it, something some worry about when trying lingerie. This satin and mesh outfit make me feel elegant and sexy, something I haven't felt in a long time. My husband eyes completely lit up when I entered the room.....who could possibly ask for anything more.
Follow-up commentary

I cannot tell you how much I still love this set and so does my husband. This has held up very well and still looks brand new. I do wear it a lot, since it is my husband's first choice. As for the thong, I take back everything bad I said about it. At that time I was a little overweight and didn't care for thongs at that time. After losing a couple of pounds, I love everything about this set including the thong. Now, I have many thongs in all colors, shapes, and sizes.
