Black Tie Optional
These are great to have in your collection because they do look sexy, but overall I was not impressed. They're perfect for a bit of intimacy with your partner, or if you are a go-go boy. I wouldn't wear them beneath your favorite jeans for a night on the town as the buttons could fall off. If you are looking for that in a pair of briefs, look elsewhere

Pros
They look sexy
Cons
Material doesn't breathe, not for plus sized men, detail is flimsy.
The Tuxedo themed brief by Excite for men is a pair of black boxer-briefs with the front pouch designed to mimic a tuxedo shirt, complete with bow tie and button detail. Made from 90% polyester and 10% spandex, they are only available in one size fits most. They come packaged in a small oblong box that is sort of curved at the ends. The underwear are further wrapped in a plastic bag inside of the box. After taking them out of the packaging and examining them, it is clear that they are cheaply made. The stitching is somewhat loose and there were strings hanging here and there. I had to snip them off with scissors before wearing them. Overall, they look sexy and can be used for a brief strip tease before sex or would be ideal if used by a Go-Go boy, but that is about it. Being a man that has a fetish for underwear, I thought that this would be the perfect addition to my collection. I was wrong and could not be more unimpressed.
As with most new underwear purchases I make, when I first put them on I become aroused. They are a bit snug on my thighs, but the waist fits perfectly. I wear a 34. I had my boyfriend try them on and he is a 36 and said they were too tight. So unless you are a waist size 32-34, this product is not for you. The material feels soft, silky, and cool against the body at first, but being primarily polyester they do not breathe well. I found myself sweating after 10 minutes. Overall I looked decent in them. I think they are a bit more designed for the man wearing them on the box.
There is no fly hole for bathroom breaks, but they do come off rather easily. I generally do not use fly holes anyhow so this was not much of a drawback for me. The biggest drawback for me was the button detailing on them and how cheaply they seem to be attached. Because of the button detail and bow tie (which are each stitched on with one small piece of thread), I would not recommend wearing them under jeans or shorts. The detail could rip off. The backs of the buttons rubbed against my penis in a most uncomfortable way when I put jeans on. Without the jeans, I was fine unless I started to get hard. The backs of the buttons would again rub against and press into my penis.
The detail also makes washing a bit of a hassle. The garment must be hand washed separately with cold water. If bleach is required for heavy duty clean up, use only a non-chlorinated bleach. After wash, hang to drip dry. This is a major setback for me for two reasons. First, I can only use a non scented clear detergent because I am allergic to the dye. I rely on dryer sheets to scent my clothes. Second, because there is no fabric softener after wash, they are stiff when you first put them on again. After the second wash, the buttons seemed a bit looser than before. I advise that you do not throw these in the machine if you want them to last.

I'm not sure most men could pull them off as well as the model! Maybe a nice gag gift?
