Best Paired With A Garter Belt (OS)
If you're looking for more stockings to pair with garter belts, these would be a pretty good choice for that. They don't snag as easily as some do and they're surprisingly comfortable. However the lace top likes to roll down and the stockings themselves like to slide down the leg.
Published:
Pros
Comfortable, Soft, Stretchy, Sexy backseam, Don't snag very easily
Cons
Tops roll, Fall down without garter belt
What are you telling us about today?
I'm telling you about some thigh high stockings from Leg Avenue. They're a basic black with a lace top and a backseam.
Cool. What does the packaging look like?
Your basic Leg Avenue envelope really. The front has a model wearing the stockings, and the back has the same image. On the back you'll also find materials and care information. These stockings are 100% Nylon, and should be hand washed in warm water and drip dried. You could probably run them through the washer in a lingerie bag, but do so at your own risk.
What's the sizing like?
These are another one size fits most items, and stockings never really give any real good clear picture as to what exactly that means. To Leg Avenue in general it means a size 6-11 with a 23-29" waist and 34-40" hips. I know that these aren't going to go up that high, but it's more to give you an idea of what size it's supposed to fit. Where I usually like to wear my thigh highs is about 21" around and these muffin topped slightly. My inseam is about 29" and these came about halfway up my thigh. I could have gotten them a bit higher, but at that point they were muffin topping.
Ok. What's the design like?
Pretty basic; sheer nylon stocking with a backseam and a lace top. There's no formed foot, and obviously the toes are closed. A visually prominent seam travels from the toes all the way up to the lace top. It does stick out ever so slightly, but not enough to really make anybody go "holy cow look at that backseam" for it. They'll be staring because the backseam is sexy. The top itself is about 2 1/2" tall with a floral pattern and scalloped top. The base of the top measures about 5" when laid flat and stretches up to about 9", although at that point you'll probably be muffin topping.
Now how about the quality?
They're nothing super special as far as quality goes. They're not going to fall apart after just a few wears, but you should still be careful not to snag them if you can. That should, fortunately, be pretty easy since I have a lot of chipped nail polish right now and that's usually the first thing to snag stockings and they haven't. They're soft, and stretchy, and feel nice against the skin.
Gotcha, how about the fit? Are they comfortable?
Surprisingly yes, at least they were more comfortable than I expected them to be. The backseam was hard to get lined up, but most backseams tend to be a bit of a pain to line up. The lace top did roll a lot though, and I had a hard time getting them to stay up on their own. A garter belt would do double duty and keep the tops from rolling and the stockings from falling down though. When worn higher up where I like to wear my stockings, there was some muffin topping and the tops really rolled. A bit lower down above my knee (about 18 1/2") they sat nicely.
Got pics?
As always. A shot of the toes, of the backseam, and of the lace top.

Experience
I was surprised with how comfortable these were on their own, but I didn't like how much they fell down and rolled. They're certainly not the worst thigh high stockings one could buy, but there are others out there that I might recommend more. If you're planning on wearing them with a garter belt, then they're pretty good so long as your thighs fit. Otherwise look for something with a gel in the band.

I like your toe nail polish. Stinks that they don't stay up, I hate that in stockings.
