Bare it all
This is great little dress for baring it all, but keeping it exciting. It's a fun and inexpensive piece for spicing up your lingerie closet.

Pros
Sexy looking, Fun for “trashy” dress up
Cons
Top band is very tight, Quality is iffy
What first attracted me to the Fishnet tube dress from Coquette is that it looks sexy and simple. I’m not one for sequins and straps and bells and whistles when it comes to lingerie. When it arrived in the mail and I slipped it on, I found it to be just as simply sexy as it looked in the picture.
It comes in a black box with a picture of a smokin’ brunette wearing the dress on the back and front. This was a refreshing change from the cheap cellophane wrap that some lingerie comes in.
First, I realized that I have to put it on slowly. I have my navel and both nipples pierced, and the dress got caught on them a little at first. The dress rode up as I was wearing it, and that pulled on my navel ring as well. This was merely annoying but not a big deterring factor. I also found that the top band completely smooshes my boobs. I was wearing it like the mannequin is in the picture, with the band covering my nipples. Once I moved the band up more, it looked and felt better. I’m not sure how this would work out for women with larger breasts than mine (mine are pretty small), but I can imagine that if you wore it more towards the bottom of your breast it might have a push-up effect. I can’t be sure though.
Besides the top band, the fit was perfect. I’m a size 6 or 8 and ordered a medium. Since it’s completely fishnet and contains spandex, it has a lot of give but still hugs my curves. No matter wear I wore it on my chest, the bottom hem (a soft satiny polyester) usually found itself right at the bottom of my tush, a perfect spot in my opinion. The fabric moves with your body where it has close contact with the skin (butt, hips, breasts) but creates sexy pockets and shadows in the other places (like this).
I was pleased with the matching thong that comes with the dress. It’s completely fishnet and doesn’t have any lining in it, so it’s not ideal for everyday wear, but great for dress up. Unlike with other lingerie sets I’ve tried, this thong actually fits. The straps sit on my hips very nicely, not too tight but not sliding off. The straps and trim are the same satiny polyester as the bottom hem of the dress. I was hoping that this thong would work out well, as it really adds a lot of extra texture and fun to the outfit.
The overall quality of the set was slightly disappointing. The top band is so tight because it’s completely made of elastic. It reminds me of the material used in elastic waist-belts. There’s also a small spot (about half an inch) in one of the side seams that looks like it either came apart or didn’t get sewn completely. I attribute this somewhat to the nature of the fabric. Since it’s obviously not one continuous piece, the chances of one bit getting missed during the sewing process are fairly high. I’m going to see if it’s something I can hand sew together, but I’m not too worried about it right now.
One final note. This set is hand washable only! I have yet to try to wash it, but will write a follow up as soon as I do. The fishnet has a somewhat wide gauge and is made from many fine threads, so be careful when handling it so it doesn’t snag on anything (inside of the dresser, finger nail, etc.).
I would recommend this dress for anyone who wants something sexy and slightly “trashy” to wear. (I use the term “trashy” loosely. It’s a good kind of sexy trashy, not cheap and nasty trashy). If you can see past the small flaws then this is one killer dress. It is certainly a welcome addition to my lingerie collection.

I'm not sure how much bigger the large is than the medium, but for anyone with a C-cup or bigger, I'd recommend getting the large. The medium would definitely not be comfortable for them.
As far as how it would look for them, I'm sure it wouldn't flatten them quite as much, though they'd probably get a "muffin-top".
Of course, if you hike it up so the band sits above your breasts, the whole problem is bypassed.
Great review!
