At least it looks good laying on the floor.
My soldier had no complaints about this piece of lingerie, which is a good thing. That being said, he lives with 75 stinky men, so I could have been in a cheese sack and he'd have gotten off to it. I, however, have higher standards, and this didn't cut it.

When I saw this babydoll/g-string set, I was so stoked. Being an Army wife, things like this just leap out at me. I -had- to have it. I initially actually came across this item because of the typo in the title, where it says assymetrical. I still can't figure out if that's being clever, about the ass, or just an error. Anyhow…
I absolutely adored that this came in larger sizes. I ordered mine in a 3x, because I am obnoxiously tall for a female (6'), as well as being plus-sized; I didn't want to have to deal with this thing being a tube top on me. For the initial fit, I wasn't very disappointed. I do have a longer torso than most females, so the fact that it is sort of cut off at an odd angle around my breasts was to be expected. I adjusted the straps, and it was fine. You can't really see it in the photo, but the asymmetrical portion of this baby-doll is actually sewn on. That is the part that I hated the most, because it doesn't actually sit on your waist so that the fabric will drape right. It's sort of at an awkward place between your hips and your waist causing it to bunch up a bit. It also didn't have nearly as long of a tail piece as the photo showed; mine ended about 9 inches above my knees. Now, I'm tall, but I'm not -that- tall. So unless the model in this photo is 4'3, it still seemed much shorter than advertised.
My biggest complaint about the size is that it feels to me like they took the medium pattern and shrunk it for smaller girls, and stretched it for bigger girls. Sadly, that's not how it works, and adding some more length -- not just width -- would have made me happier.
The feel of the material isn't that bad, actually. It's soft, and glides fairly easily over the skin, and aside from the awkward hip/waist lump, it fit pretty well. However, all it takes is literally looking at this piece of lingerie for it to start running. I had not even adjusted the straps before there was a run going down it. Grrr. Alright, so I carefully put it on over my head. It wasn't too snug, I didn't catch my fingernails on it, or even pull it taut. I ended up with 4 runs on this within five minutes, and they were all very noticeable.
This pattern (M81 Woodland) isn't used by any branch of the military anymore, and hasn't been in quite some time; however it's probably the most widely recognized pattern for any branch of the military. They spiffed it up a bit by adding little bullet clasps near the cleavage area, which are nice and sturdy. The g-string is a tad uncomfortable, because the way the material bunches up. It feels like a rope is up your ass after you have it on for a period of time.
Along with being a softer material, it's also very sheer. This could be because the material is so crappily made, or intentionally this way. Either way, neither it being so thin, the flaws in the material, or any runs, will be noticed.
In the end, even though the quality is garbage, and the fit is awkward, it's still cute. It still makes my soldier happy to see me in "uniform", even if it's only a silly civilian version of it. That alone warrants at least two stars. If this had been just a little higher quality, it would certainly be in my "keep" drawer. Sadly, I don't expect it to hold up for more than two or three wears with how fast it is falling apart.

Experience
In all fairness, this piece of lingerie did its job. The sole purpose is to make me look and feel good, and spice things up, and it did. It also looks adorable on the floor. I would not suggest going to town with the g-string pushed off to the side, though, unless having a chapped dick is your thing.
Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
I still hate this item. Mostly because if it had been designed the right way, I could have really loved this. It makes me exceptionally irritated that a moderately quality product becomes worthless, because of a very simple mistake. I have, on three recent occasions, put this on in an attempt to make this work for me. However, I cannot overlook the fact that this product is unwearable to me because of the design flaw.

Forgive the awkward spacing, I blame my iPad

Wish the material was better on this. Thanks for the notes on the fit!

I wish the material were better, as well. Even with all the sewing flaws, I still would have been satisfied with it if it at least held together. Sadly, it was mostly a flop.

Yeah, and they all say the same thing, too, so we're not all lucking out with bad batches, sadly. :/

It has the potential to be cute, if the design weren't flawed, I agree
