Ashley? Should be Called "Dorothy"
The bluish-black and white striped panties are sexy but comfortable enough to wear on a daily basis. I'd purchase this style in multiple colors, if it were available. I do wish they were a bit cheaper, but sometimes it's nice to splurge on yourself. (=

Pros
Comfortable, modest, cute
Cons
panty lines, elastic around the legs, lace poofs out, minor sewing error, price
These panties are super cute. The stripes and lace really give them a feminine Dorothy feel; although, I doubt the maiden of Oz ever wore something like this beneath her dress.
The front is a shiny, nylon in black and white stripes. At least, I think it's black. The strips are fine and either the dye or the material makes them look sometimes a navy blue. You can see this from the product images, where the panties definitely have a blue hue. A stretchy white lace makes up the seat of the panties, which have a modest full cut.
The front is also bedecked with a bow. It looks darker in the product photos, but it's not quite black. It's a deep, gunmetal sort of color. It's made of the typical ribbon like you'd see on any panties, but mine came with a sewing error. Rather than the two loose "legs" point away from one another, they're both on the same side. It's not the end of the world, but it does look a little funny.
Both the waistband and legholes are lined with elastic. This keeps the boyshorts on your hips, but I wish the legholes were just hemmed. The elastic has a tendency to squeeze your skin in. It stays in place, yes, but also creates more panty lines. Plus, the holes are detailed with a thin lace ribbon. Because of the elastic, they tend to poof out away from your legs. It's not super noticeable, but, again, it looks kind of funny.
They're pretty comfortable panties, though. They stay in place, the large fit perfectly. They highlight your hips and they offer some peeks at the goods without giving it also away. There's no uncomfortable strings that pinch or cut or ride up.
The lace didn't get into the way of my pants, which can sometimes with these more feminine styles. The only thing that I didn't love was that the front panel was a nylon rather than cotton. It doesn't wick sweat away from your body. However, there is a very secure cotton lining in the crotch, which is wide enough for a pantyliner or menstrual pad. Some sex panties have super narrow fabric in these areas, so you can't get away with the pantyliner.
I washed these with my whites for the first time, and they held up well. The thread around the elastic seems a bit thin, and was pulling in some parts. I'll probably make some necessary snips to prolong the panties, but they don't seem uber fragile, which is good. I'd say you can safely wash and dry them in a lingerie bag, but if you're really worried, a hand wash will do the trick. I always have trouble getting my black-and-white clothes to stay both dark and bright so any tips are welcome!

Thank you for the review! Good to hear that you think they'll stand up to a lingerie bag, because I really don't like handwashing.
