Are Your Legs Wet? Oh No Wait, That's Just Your Stockings!
The Wet Look is a unique one, and this line from Coquette offers an affordable chance to give this look a shot. These stockings can be used to simulate wearing thigh high boots without actually having to spend the money on a pair of thigh high boots, and they're a whole lot more flexible too. They can get warm, but they breathe decently well and while there's some awkward toe action going on, they'll look killer on long legs.

Pros
Comfortable, Sexy, Will work great on longer legs
Cons
Can get warm, Bunching toes and ankles, Not as great for shorter legs
Coquette hosiery comes in a smallish plastic bag with a cardboard insert and the stockings folded up inside. A sticker on the outside indicates the size, and while it doesn't say exactly how you should wash them, it does have pictures. Fortunately, one of the stockings has a tag inside of it to give you all of your pertinent information. The tag also indicates the size, as well as the materials (80% Nylon and 20% Spandex - exclusive of the band of stretchy satin like trim along the top of each stocking), and the cleaning instructions (hand wash and hang to dry). Because of the material I would definitely recommend following the washing instructions, and don't chance this one in the dryer.
These are sort of tube shaped stockings made with the "wet look." They're pretty much stocking versions of the wet look shorts, both the regular booty and the ones with the zipper. While there isn't a formed shape for the feet on these, there is a seam that runs up the back of the entire stocking. It's there for function to hold it together rather than as decoration, but it's still a good way to tell if you have them on "correctly." The toes come to a squarish point, similar to a ballet shoe. This can translate to some rather awkward toe appearances, but can easily be hidden with shoes. They also don't form to the ankles very well either, leaving a bit of a loose material look. If you have thicker ankles they'll form, but skinnier ones will have the appearance of some excess fabric, even though there isn't much room between the fabric and the skin.
The material is really soft and has a decent amount of stretch to it. If the material is cool and dry you can run your hand right over it and it glides like silk. Any kind of moisture or pressure and your hand will stick. It's hard for me to try and describe how everything feels while playing with them. The material looks thick but is actually pretty thin, and breathes surprisingly well. I haven't exposed them to extreme temperatures yet, but between 80 and 85 degrees in the house I didn't get very sticky. It's also supposed to appear "wet" but it has more of a matte finish to it. Still shiny, but not quite the first thing I think of when I think of "wet look."
Unless you're planning on not being very active, you're going to want a garter belt to wear with these. The nice thing about the thicket material is that even if you can't get the clip to slide all the way closed, they don't seem to pop out. With a garter bet they sat about mid thigh, and without I could pull them up to my upper thigh but walking proved to make them fall down. I was able to pull them about 25" up where they landed on my mid to upper thigh. That particular area is about 19 3/4" around and there was definitely room for play. I would say that you could probably be up to about 23" or so before you started to experience any kind of digging in, any larger than that and I'd try the plus size stockings first.
I have a few pictures for you to show them in general on me, as well as the feet and ankle issues: You can see that they'll work much better on folks with taller legs. Mine are about 29" from my heel to my bikini line.

Experience
I wasn't sure what to expect when I first got these. At that point I had another Wet Look piece, but hadn't tried it yet because the zipper made me a little bit nervous. But it had garter straps and the picture for that even showed it with these stockings, so I had confidence that they'd hold up to being held up just fine. They're surprisingly comfortable and they breathed a lot better than I initially expected they would. I haven't subjected them to being worn in extremely hot temperatures yet, but I didn't get too sticky in my fairly warm house. The only issues I have with them are the awkward toe thing and the bunchy ankle thing, but I can always wear shoes and taking these in wouldn't be too difficult if I really feel like it.
