A Makeshift Tummy Tuck
These high-waisted brief style underwear will definitely take you back a few decades. I love the cut and elegant front panel, as well as the removable garters. However, I don't find the sheer sides to be flattering for that extra bit of tummy I don't want to show. I like the style, but I'd love these so much more if they weren't so sheer.

Pros
Stretchy, Removable garters and bows, Beautiful hanger, Matching bra, Flattering on fuller figures
Cons
Do not offer shaping
I love this flattering cut of panties, but I had a worry in the back of my mind the entire time I waited for them to ship. When I tried them on and took pictures for you guys, it was apparent I was right to.
These are way too sheer for anyone who has a tummy pouch or extra bit they just want to cover up. Granted, these are cut high up and are made to flatter curves of fuller figures - but how full are we talking? My hips are 41" and my waist is 38". This is well over the 30-32" waist size on the size chart listed for a L, so these will stretch to fit those of us blessed with a more voluptuous hiney. I feel they fit pretty true to size, but they give you a few inches of wiggle room if you're between sizes. I usually wear an XL and took a chance on these, and they fit fine. They just aren't as flattering as I'd originally hoped. They're polyester, so they don't have a ton of stretch the way a product with a Spandex blend would have, but they're stretchy enough to give or take a few inches from the size chart. However, it's the frontal region I have a problem covering with these. The frontal portion is made of a velvety material that is really soft, but the rest is this sheer look that just doesn't hide much at all. The back is completely made of this material, as well, so while these are a more coverage cut, they really don't cover all that much at all. They show everything I always strive to hide. These are great for those of you who want a little more shaping under a nice dress or skirt, but they don't do a whole lot of nipping and tucking, as they aren't designed to be shaping underwear. They more so just mimic the style of lingerie in the 50's.
Straying away from the tummy topic, they're a pretty customizable pair of panties. The garters are removable and so are the bows. I have an issue with the bows being safety pinned on, though, because they tend to just dangle free from the underwear and look a little loose. They're comfortable enough when wearing, though I don't suggest them with low rise jeans or anything that's going to show off how high they come up. They're made to sit just above your belly button, which kind of makes them ride up in the back to give you a little bit of an ass lift. It's not as uncomfortable as it sounds, but the material could be a little softer on the sheer sides. There's a nice cotton liner in the bottom of the panties, which is a big plus for underwear of this style. It makes them a lot more comfortable when pulled up between your legs. There's a black seam that runs up the back that makes it look like you have a really deep wedgie, and I don't really understand what the purpose of the seam is, but it doesn't take a lot away from the overall look of the panties. I know some other styles of panties have it, but since the material is sheer, it's just a little odd looking from the back.
These panties come on a Coquette satin padded hanger, hanging on two metal clamps. There are satin ribbons located inside of the underwear to hang back on this hanger or another hanger of your choosing. Those of you that love packaging and aesthetic aspects of items will love the hanger these come on. It's nice to hang the underwear back on or use for another garment. The hanger is covered in plastic to keep the product safe while shipping. The garters come detached from the underwear and in a separate plastic bag.
The washing instructions are simple, and pretty much what every other lingerie tag states to do. Hand wash only and in cold water, hang to dry. You probably could machine wash these if you remove the garters and bows first, but if you're cautious, you can put them in a lingerie bag/pillow case first and they should be fine.
Coquette makes a bra to match these that also is inspired by vintage lingerie.

Experience
A few more pictures to show you guys how unflattering they are for a bigger tummy.
Follow-up commentary

I am still so disappointed in how sheer the panties came out to be on me. They don't hide anything since I have a rounder tummy, though the quality was nice and I like the detachable bows. I stand by that they're a pretty good pair of panties if you like the vintage look, but these did not flatter my body type even a tiny bit.
