An Affordable Beauty
With just one swift upward motion of the zipper and a tug on the back strings, you can avoid all the pesky individual closures found on traditional corsets by purchasing a short-cut corset such as this divine one by Escante.

Pros
Beautiful, easy to put on, coordinates with many different outfits.
Cons
Only comes in one color, no larger than a 38.
I've never had luck with corsets, particularly the type which have the hook and eye closures up the front. My curves hindered the fastening process of each individual hook. Just went I thought I had them all fastened, one would pop. I'd refasten it and elsewhere another would come undone. Ugh!! Frustrating to say the least, and it turned me off from the art of corsetry, until manufacturers started coming out with some decent-quality, zip-front styles that offered the same look, without all the hassle. The "Turquoise Front-Zip Corset" from ESCANTE answered my prayers. It's comfortable, feminine, form-fitting, and requires no nimble fingers to make the necessary adjustments. It can be worn with a pair of jeans or look equally as stunning with a sexy pair of panties, garter belt, stockings, and heels. Heck, it even looked good with my cotton VS panties!
MATERIAL & DESIGN
Unfortunately, it only comes in turquoise, which will compliment pretty much anyone, but it would be lovely to see a few extra colors available in this same design. It's made in MEXICO, with the main body being 100% polyester. The finish has a slight satin look (not too shiny though) on the underlying turquoise color. The floral design is a combination of muted greens, gold, and pink metallic threads. It reminds me of a brocade, but with lots of complimentary colors.
There are 12 "boning" pieces situated around the inside of the piece, which help keep the corset from bunching up. I'm not sure what they are made from, probably some type of firm, yet flexible plastic. The stitching is even, no loose threads. There's no reinforced backing to this corset, but the inside is very soft and not itchy. The back lace-up side supplies an ample enough amount of string to allow for some adjustments should one's torso be a bit wider.
SIZING
I ordered the largest size, the 38, for my 36DD/38D bust. I was able to put it on right out of the package without having to loosen the strings, like I've had to do with so many other corsets which just left a huge gap in the back. For a change, I only had to tighten them a bit and I was good to go. It was snug, but comfy. However, as one can see from the following images, the zipper tends to slide down a wee bit. An additional closure could have been added here to close up the gap, you know, like the kind found on a bra strap? I may have to add one myself.
Overall I think the sizing is pretty accurate, as I've tried on Frederick's of Hollywood corsets in a 38 and they were way too small. The length is good for most women. I just happen to have a long torso and big boobs, so it's obviously not going to come down around the top of my hips like it would on some figures, but at least it covers my tummy.
CARE
Hand wash cold water using a mild soap, such as Woolite. Flatten on a towel and let dry. Do not ring out the water, use bleach, or iron. Something like this shouldn't need to be laundered regularly anyhow, so it should hold up well. If anything, I think the zipper would be the first thing to go, as that's usually my experience with lower-quality pieces.

Experience
Although it's not the most expensive, top-of-the-line corset, it's still a great buy. I don't regret selecting this one and will be keeping my eye out for other similar ones that make my boobs look great!
Follow-up commentary

I love TESA corsets and would really enjoy it if the EF carried more of their styles. The zip front is so easy to use! In fact, I purchased a few more TESA corsets recently from elsewhere. I did find that even though I ordered 38's, one of them ran a bit large. This blue one is just right though. So pretty and I always receive many compliments on it. Worth the money!
