Adorable and Easy, just like you.
New-style pasties with adorable patterns that go on and off with ease. Surprisingly simple and resilient, even staying on in the pool.

Pros
easy to use, easy to remove, comfortable, water-resistant
Cons
not ENTIRELY painless removal, just less painful.
As some background on my experience with pasties: Occasionally in my work as a burlesque performer, I've donned hand-made pasties. To apply them, we use spirit gum or pastie glue. Once a number or act is over, the pasties are carefully (yet almost always still painfully)removed. And then the fun begins of picking off the last remnants of dried spirit gum, a process that can continue for a day or so afterwards. Some of the girls with whom I have performed have had serious reactions on their nipples after the glue dried the sensitive skin too much or they had to change sets of pasties multiple times in a show. But they face the dilemma: put too much glue on and you're in for a world of hurt. Put on too little, especially if you're sweating and moving around a lot in your number, and the coverage might well come right off. That defeats the purpose of having them in the first place. And I've seen both happen.
That's one reason why these Bristols 6 pasties are a refreshing change of pace. In comparison to the standard pasties application and removal, they are a breeze. If you can apply and remove an adhesive bandage, you can manage these. Additionally, they offer a larger coverage area, which can be a real boon to girls with sizeable nipples. While you still may want to make sure your nipples are hard before applying for aesthetic reasons, there's not the same level of urgency as is the case with small pasties and large nipples normally. There are also the smaller size, which you can either add on top of the larger pastie for a unique look (leopard printon gold or vice versa) or just use on their own. Nipple pads are also included, but I didn't use them. They were pretty easily lost and I kind of failed to see the point. Maybe you will, though.
Despite this increased utility, you don't have to sacrifice style. I found the leopard print and gold both to be very adorable, with the heart shape offering a nice accentuation to the natural curves nearby. They're far less classic, though. If you're aiming for the old-school burlesque style look, it's a far cry from that.
One really dramatic draw was the fact that these pasties could survive water immersion. Perhaps spirit gum can last despite a lap through a pool, but I certainly wouldn't bet on it. But I wore the gold heart pasties underneath a swimsuit, basically just to find out what would happen. I didn't spend hours in the pool, but I did swim around, play some volleyball and then proceed to sweat my brains out for another couple hours dancing in 100 degree heat. And when the night was over, the pasties were perfectly intact. It was surprising; most bandages would have come off after a session like that.

Nothing but positive things to say about this set. I have re-used the same pasties on more than one occasion and they held up fabulously, despite hours of sweat. I don't know how many uses one can reasonably hope to get, especially off the original adhesive, but I was impressed.

Thank you for viewing Leopard heart pasties – pasties discontinued review page!
Okay, despite feeling a bit embarrassed and clueless, I have to ask why it would be important for aesthetic reasons to apply pasties when the nipples are hard? (I would have thought it would make it more difficult to adhere when the nipples are puckered and more pointy?) I would just like to know since I am far from an expert on pasties, but I do like to wear them occasionally (and I want to make sure I use them right--or at least to the maximum advantage!).
Great job on the review. Oh, and I just love burlesque! I really need to study some moves and come up with my own private act. Any suggestions on where to begin if you are wanting to learn in the privacy of your own home?
And as for learning burlesque at home, I don't know right off hand. Just do some searching online and you'll find plenty of youtube vidoes.
