A shining star that's sweet and comfortable!
I think a lot of women will like the Stargazer chemise for the unique color (which I hope to see more of in lingerie) and for the comfortable, but sexy fit. I think it will flatter a wide variety of figures, and holds up well to multiple uses. It's a great value for the price, and I recommend it especially to a woman who wants a simple, elegant piece of lingerie.

Pros
Beautiful teal color, Simple and elegant, durable
Cons
No plus size available
I ADORE this teal-colored chemise for many, many reasons! First of all, it's a welcome break from the usual black, red, pink, and sometimes white or purple lingerie that's available. Rarely does a blue or green piece pop up, much less any other color of the rainbow. So when I came across this wonderful piece, I wanted it immediately!
The fabric is mesh webbing, with seams on the sides and "princess seams" down the front and back. There is underwire, but the cups are just lace & mesh fabric and not padded. Though you won't get any extra lift or "push-up" from the underwire, it does show off the cleavage you have naturally (which is how I like it anyway). The hem falls just below my butt, and only rides up a little when moving around. The straps are a little further out to the side than I expected, but the picture shows it accurately.
What the photos DON'T show on the ridiculously air-brushed model is that you don't need breasts that size to fill it out. I ordered a Medium, and it fits wonderfully. I'm usually a medium in shirts and an 8-10 in pants and a B cup. The chemise fit snugly (like its supposed to), and underwire gave some support, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Of course, I wouldn't expect to do any actual sleeping in it, but it's semi-easy to get into on your own and it doesn't pinch anywhere. The only issue I had with getting it on was the hook in the back that creates the keyhole and keeps the whole thing from hanging off my body. I am terribly bad at hooking bras and the like when they are behind me, so I often hook them in front before turning them to the back. I did the same thing with the Stargazer piece, though it did take some extra wriggling around to turn it around my body. No ripped seams or mesh though.
After 2-3 washings and occasions to wear it, it's holding up just fine. I was surprised given that it's little more than lace strategically sewn together, but it seems very sturdy. I did put it in a mesh lingerie bag to launder it, and washed it with regular "dark" clothes with Woolite. However, that's the most the special treatment that any of my clothes can expect, so surviving that level of cleaning is a must.
The g-string with it got tossed almost immediately, as I can't stand to wear them, and I think they are terribly uncomfortable. My husband wasn't complaining though; it's not like the chemise stayed on me for more than 5 minutes anyway. ;)

Follow-up commentary

I ADORE this lingerie piece, and it's a crying shame that it's not available anymore. The color is gorgeous (and still my favorite part of it), and I've worn this over and over with VERY positive results from my husband!

Thank you for sharing what this fits like on someone real. I'm so glad to hear that it looks wonderful and is flattering! Not sure how well that color would look on me, but it does look like a really lovely piece.
