A Rolling Band Shows no Corset Top
I was very dissapointed in these stockings. I think they lack in design. The corset decoration makes the lace band weaker when stretched and so it doesn't stay flat as well. In order to keep it flat, I had to wear these really high where they would be past the thickest part of my thigh. This made it hard to see the corset detail too...I had to wear them backwards to see it best.

Pros
Will fit taller women, Pretty lace, good set of stockings
Cons
No adhesive to hold up weak band, not tight around the ankle, can roll/bunch, hard to see "corset"
Being very similar to some of the best stockings I own from Leg Avenue, I thought these would also be great and super sexy with their mini corset style backing. I found that the addition of the tie ups has compromised the strength of the band and causes it to roll unless they are pulled ALL the way up or tied as tight as they can be. Either way, you can barely see the corset back or tell it is there. Because of this, I was terribly dissapointed, but I still got a good pair of stockings out of it.
*Overview:
This pair of stockings from Leg Avenue have a traditional sized fishnet pattern. They have a closed toe and no back seam. They can be used with or without garters, but do best without due to their long length and the lace top. The lace top has a corset, tie up detail. They are one size fits most.
These also come in white. This version is classic black.
*Material: Soft and stretchy
These stockings are made of 100% nylon which is exclusive of the decoration. The decoration includes the lace top, ribbon tie, and metal grommets. The lace has a small flower and large swirl pattern that is really pretty. It does not have adhesive bands on the inside for additional hold up support. I was dissapointed by this since I had been expecting it. Stocking from this company, at the same price, do have this feature. I feel that it is a major down fall of the stockings that it does not have this addition. The materials are soft and durable though and relatively return to their original shape. They don't feel abrasive against the skin and are comfortable to wear.
*Design/craftsmanship: Looks good, but flawed in function
The thing that makes these stockings so pretty is of course the lace top. The lace band is about 3 1/2" tall and has really cute scalloped edges. The scallops width is larger than what I have seen in the past. The scallops are about 1 5/8" wide. In between the pattern of the lace is mesh which shows the skin wonderfully beneath it.
The corset decoration is created by a split in the back of the lace band. It splits the entire lace band. On either side of the split are four metal grommets secured in a thicker, layed section of lace. Through the grommets a long piece of black ribbon ties through from the bottom. I was surprised that these are actually functional. Unfortunately, the more you loosen them, the more the corset can be seen, but the more they are likely to roll or fall down.
The toes are closed and not reinforced. They have a seam at the very end that I did not find uncomfortable.
*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash
These stockings come molded over a small cardboard insert that has a cardboard package wrapped around it. A plastic hook goes through the folds of the stockings so they can be hung up for retail display. The package has a picture of a model wearing the stockings on the front and care instructions on the back. The package says to hand wash in warm water and to drip dry. It also says to not iron. If you want to flatten the lace, You can dry them with a heavy book on top of them. To store, you can fold them in on themselves like socks. I throw them in a drawer with all my other stockings that don't have reusable packages
They are made in Taiwan.

Experience
*Sizing/Application: Work for medium-large thighs and medium-tall women
These stockings are "one size fits most". The sizing on the package says that they will fit women weighing 90-160 pounds. I really wish they would start putting thigh measurements on there because the weight doesn't help all that much. If you are 140 pounds and 5'0" you are going to have more of a problem fitting into these than a 140 pound 5'5" person. Anyways, end rant. It's hard to say exactly who these would be best for, but I'll venture a guess at the middle range of that 90-160 pounds. I'd say that 110-140 is probably best for these.
The height is best for women who are 5'6" and taller. They probably will even do fine with women who are 5' 11". Any taller, these will likely fall below the mid-upper thigh. I'm 5' 6" and these came up to right under my butt...so very upper thigh. If I pulled them down more, the corset would bunch or roll a bit and was hard to see, but it was hard to see right under my butt too. They totally fit my thighs which are about 23.5" at the largest point. I still think that because of the corset top and split in the back, it makes the band weaker. I would guess that these are better on someone with thighs that are about 22.5" or smaller. Too small (20" or so), I think these might fall down. The band did fit comfortably, but it simply didn't show the corset tie up very noticeably. I opted to turn the stockings around, where the corset detail could be seen and wasn't almost right under my butt.
For me, I did not need garters. The thigh band fit comfortably around my thigh without cutting in. They also stayed up nicely and didn't roll. They did crimp if they were pulled all the way up though. They will fit up to about 26" thighs without cutting in much at all. On smaller thighs (less than 21") they might fall down. Another thing that I didn't like is that the ankles were loose. The fabric didn't stay tight around my ankles.
*Best Fit Chart:
Pounds: 110-140
Height: 5'6"-5'11"
Thigh circumference: ~20"-23"
*Conclusion:
I am giving these stockings a regrettable 3 stars. I have to do this because the thigh range they fit is smaller than those I have tried in the past for this type of stocking. They lack adhesive backing to help hold up the weakened band and so I had to wear them really high so they wouldn't roll or bunch. This caused the corset to be right below my butt where it was hard to see too. I really could only wear these backwards which isn't the look I originally wanted, but it did work.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
The main reason I gave these three stars is because they don't do what they claim all that well. I still wear them, but I was disappointed because I expected something different. If only they stayed up better! They have held up to washing and wear fairly well. I don't have any rips yet, and I have worn them a few times.

Thanks for such a helpful review! I guess I could wear them with a garter belt, but they should work as designed.
