A poorly constructed cincher that falls short
Cinchers are great alternatives to full corsets, but this lingerie set falls short is many areas where another set may not. Poor stitching, mismatched hardware colors and odd bra cup construction make me think that you should save your money for something with better quality and fit.

Pros
Price, stretchiness.
Cons
Poor construction, hardware doesn’t match, no structure to the cincher piece, bra not done right
I had very high hopes for this lingerie set. Being extremely petite in stature, cinchers are pretty much the only way I can wear boned lingerie. I was hoping that for the price this set would do the trick and I'd be able to have some lovely corset-esque lingerie to show off.
Oh how I was wrong.
First off, the quality on this lingerie set leaves much to be desired. At least half of the seams on the various pieces of this don't meet up properly and there are loose strings floating around all the place. Sigh. Though I wasn't expecting it to be of the same quality of a much more expensive piece of lingerie given the price of it, I was expecting something much more.
The cups of the bra are stitched in an odd way. There is a seam right up the center that optimally should sit right over the nipple, but in practice just leads the cups to have a more conical shape than a round, perky boob shape. That may be okay if you're a fan of late 80s/early 90s Madonna, but I prefer my boobs to not have parts that poke out that aren't my nipples.
The straps that connect the pieces are iffy at best. The straps and hooks that connect the bra to the midsection cincher don't adjust at all. Meaning that if you're shorter in stature like me, the hooks get undone easily unless you stay perfectly still which let's be honest isn't the point of lingerie, is it? On top of that those particular straps connect to these little beads that are sewed on the cincher and they could be much better quality without adding much cost. They flop around and that's part of the reason the top clips come loose frequently. The lower straps that attach to stockings are thankfully adjustable so if you have shorter legs you won't have your stockings down around your knees. The backing on the garter connections (I don't really know what to call them) are clear plastic and not permanently attached to the hooks. Enough jostling and they might come loose. These upper hooks can be detached if you want to not use them with the piece and that's a nice option to have given that they come loose anyways, but I still would have liked to see them even slightly adjustable.
Another thing that bugged me, albiet minor here. The hardware on all the straps is brasstone, while the hooks in the cincher are silvertone. I know it's not a big thing but those little details are something that should have been paid attention to. How hard would it have been to get silvertone hardware for the connector straps?
The cincher itself is very stretchy and a someone who has a wider torso will appreciate the fact that it will stretch to accommodate a variety of weights. The black netting has a lot of give in it and easily would fit most people. The flip side of this is that there isn't much structure to it. There's no hourglass physique going on here. It doesn't narrow in the center and flare out at the top and bottom. It's just a consistent cinch all the way through.
The thong is something I actually fairly like. There is no cotton panel in the crotch, making it all black mesh. If you're a person who gets rather moist in that region of the world, there's nothing to retain the moisture. The straps on the thong are super stretchy and fit on my wide hips (for my height). I will definitely use the thong multiple times because these type of undies are extremely hard for me to find as most of them cut into my skin uncomfortably.
Would I recommend this lingerie set? Well, that depends on what you're looking for. If you want something for a single time use at an affordable price and don't mind getting what you pay for, go for it. If you're looking for an alternative to a corset, a cincher is an excellent option. If you're looking for a cheap piece of lingerie to put on only have it torn off you, go for this! Just be aware that the quality on this piece is clearly not what you'd get in a more expensive piece and there are some rather obvious flaws to it. Taller physiques might look and fit this set better as well. Shorter physiques are going to look stuffed and cramped, in my opinion
This set is 100% nylon and should be hand washed with no bleach for cleaning and then tumble dried low for drying.

Follow-up commentary

Ugh, this sits at the bottom of my throw-away drawer waiting for me to find something to do with it. I still haven't come up with any ideas. I'm so tempted to just throw it away, but my saver side can't seem to find the courage to do so. I wish this had worked out so much better than it did.
