A Night Out on the Town
If you can figure out what size you are in this line of corsets, all the power to you. The quality is about what can be expected for the price, and this overbust halter style corset is sexy and accents curves quite well while cinching/smoothing a little bit.

Pros
Adjustable, Sexy, Decent construction, Did I say sexy? Cause it really is.
Cons
Lace does not meet at the bottom, Stitching/material is cheap, Confusing sizing.
The Dreamgirl Lace back corset arrived from Eden wrapped in lovely pink tissue paper. The corset itself just had a tag on it with the model picture from the product page and the size. The corset comes with the matching thong, which is marked as the same size as the corset (in my case 34). The corset also had the detachable garters attached and there was no storage pouch for them as there is with some lingerie I have purchased in the past.
The corset and thong are made out of a brocade like material. It is not as thick and satiny as real brocades, but it gives the effect nicely. It is made from 100% polyester as is the lining, which is a black mesh type material. The lining can be a bit scratchy, but overall it is decent. There are 8 pieces of plastic boning in the piece, which do not cinch as well as steel boning, but can flatten minor bumps. If it is laced too tightly the boning can buckle and bulge.
The back has two satiny pieces of string to lace with. There are 12 metal grommets on each side to lace through, and the backs of the grommets are finished well as to not be sharp and pokey. The lacing is a satiny finished string that matches the visual texture of the corset. The busk does not contain any boning, just a line of hook and eye closures. There is a small modesty panel underneath this part made from some cheap feeling fuzzy something or another. This piece of material is not seen, so the weird texture/cheapness is not detrimental to the overall quality of the pice. The halter is tied with a satiny ribbon so it is entirely adjustable to various sizes.
The garters on the corset are removable, and seem to do an okay job at holding up stockings. I took them off right away as I was wanting this piece for more outerwear purposes. They are made out of the same material as a bra-strap is with the same type of adjustable length. The actual fixture is made from plastic or coated metal, I can't tell. The back part of the fixture comes off the entire thing pretty easy which could end up with it lost. The extra flap-y thing sticks out and does not look finished or sexy. Since it is difficult to explain, have a picture:
The matching thong is made from the same faux-brocade as the corset and elastic straps. It stretches well to accomodate various hip sizes. The actual piece of fabric is tiny. It is pretty much your average tiny thong. It is comfortable, though my personal tastes would not wear it as everyday underwear, it could be used as such.

Experience
After picking out the size 34, because I am a 34C, I tried this corset on. It doesn't meet all the way in the back like it does on the model picture, so I have about 2-3inches of skin showing on my back. This wouldn't be a problem for me if I didn't have to wear a bra with it to maintain some semblance of a chest. If I don't wear a bra with this, I am completely flattened out up top. It takes me from a C cup to like, nothing. It does accent my hips and waist really well, so this flaw is forgivable. The lace trim on the bottom hides my problem area where my hips meet my thighs and there is a slight indent of sorts? Yeah, that was a nice plus! Unlike the model picture however, the lace front meets in an upside down V shape, the edges don't meet up nicely like the picture.
I wore this piece out over a dress to a steampunk ball, and I think the piece fit in with this sort of costume. As I was putting this piece on to go rock the ball, part of the fabric came out of the seam. There are seams where the boning is, and a small half inch portion frayed itself right out of the seam, leaving a small hole. This changed my opinion from being, "Wow this piece is made really well for the price" to "Wow that was disappointing". Regardless of the new imperfection, the corset looked amazing worn out to the ball. The boning buckled a little bit during wear, but I may have laced it too tight.
The hook/eye closure front makes this piece relatively easy to get off for some sexy fun time after a night out or what have you. It also really makes the piece easy to get on and off without having to adjust the lacing every time, which is very difficult to do on your own.
After a night out and finishing the night at home, the piece stood up pretty well considering. The hole did not get bigger even after dancing and shenanigans. I still am going to put some fray-stop on it to prevent it from getting bigger. Low lights probably made the imperfections less noticeable than say strictly in the bedroom, but hey, who is going to be picking out small flaws when you look so awesome in the piece?
To care for this seemingly fragile piece, I recommend hand washing or running it through the hand wash/gentle cycle on a washing machine that does not have agitators.
