A Lovely Trip Down The Rabbit Hole
The Alice costume is a great costume for Halloween or the bedroom for some playtime, its fit is perfect for showing a bit of skin without being fully scandalous. The set is soft and comfrtable for long periods of wear, shorter girls may not like the stockings much and sizing is a bit big, but it can fit well and has a lot of stretch to it. It's a great addition to my halloween closet.

Pros
Cute,Light Feeling, Comes with everything but shoes
Cons
Sizing is a bit big, Awkward Tights if short
The Decent:
The Alice costume comes in three different sizing options, SM,ML,and 1x/2x. For this review I will be using the ML option. The costume comes with three parts the headband, the costume itself, and then a set of thigh high checkboard tights. The set comes in a simple plastic bag that is typical in a bagged costume. The front carboard piece is the same picture that appears on Eden to advertise the costume. The costume is comprised of black, white, and light blue. The straps onthe dress are adjustable, helping it to fit a range of sizes better. The dress is made from 80% nylon, and 20% spandex. The dress does need to be set out to release wrinkles after initial purchase.
Keeping it Fluffed:
The dresses tag states that it is handwash only and then youmust hang to dry. I would use the gentle cycle on the washing machine with a very gentle soap, a color preserving soap works best for most clothes, I did maintain hang drying through to prevent shrinking from occuring.
Fitting Through The Door:
The headband obviously is a one size fits all, from a five year old girl (my niece) to a women of 20. The dress was a size ML, the sizing for this provided by coquette is Sizes:10 - 12
Breast Cup:C
Bust(in):36 - 40
Waist(in):28 - 32
Hip(in):38 - 42
I am a size 9, with a c cup breast, that is roughly 36 in the bust, with a 27 inch waist or so, and a 37 in hip or so. (for those who follow reviews I have gained a bit of weight). The dress fits snuggly against my breasts, but does get a bit baggy around the waist and hips. So I would size a little bit less if you are near the end of the sizing spectrum. The dress isn't as puffy as the advertisements show, so I added a petticoat underneath and that added the flair to it. The last piece was the most dissapointing the stockings, I am 5'1 barefoot, the stocking reached up underneath the dress. they also fall down very easily. They are very stretchy, but made very wide so girls with thick thighs will love them.
Nothing To Cry About:
The costume comes in a three piece set as I stated earlier. The headband is a simple one with white stretch fabric with a medium sized black bow to the side. It is comfortable and does not cut into the scalp as many headbands tend to do. It is simple enough that it can be worn with the costume or later on as a cute headband, for those that like a bit of childishness. The Stockings that come in the set are a bit of a let down, they are baggy and go to high on the legs, unlike the advertisment picture they don't show the cute bows if you are shorter. They also have issues with sliding down the legs due to the slick fabric and also since they aren't tight in anyway. The seam on the stocking also rubs against the foot for long periods and can cause blistering inside shoes. The dress is designed with a light blue fabric white white ruffled fabric at the edges. At the top is a large checkerboard black and white bow with a black button in the center. Then comes two rows of black buttons, and then a small white apron with a small black bow.

Experience
Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
The Alice costume turned out to have more flaws then not. Many of the threads became undone after washing it only once. This left several of the seams fully undone. The stockings on the set were close to unwearable due to the fact they slipped anytime I wore them and were not compatible with garters. They also made the outfit look very frumpy due to my height. The dress also fit poorly and the bottom only puffed out if you wore a petticoat. Overall the dress was not the best work quality or look for the price.
