A little bit not-so-much
I love a nice chemise and just about anything lace. This is both of those things! From what I saw of the product pics, I figured I would totally love this. However, once I got it and put it on, I was not impressed.

Pros
Lace, comes with hanger, 4 removable garters, thong it comes with is not bad
Cons
No bust support, not that flattering, no plus sizes available for those who need them
This was actually my first piece of lingerie from DreamGirl. I love lingerie, and have reviewed a number of pieces from EF, but none from DreamGirl.. I was hoping this would be the beginning of a love affair with this brand. This chemise comes packed in a plastic bag, on a black DreamGirl hanger, like so:
I got it in a large, and I think it fits true to size. According to the EF size chart, a large from DreamGirl is meant to fit a size 10-14:
Cup Bust (in) Waist (in) Hip (in) Inseam (in) Rise (in) Weight (lb)
C - D 36 - 38 28 - 32 38 - 40 35½ 8 - 8½ 140 - 150
When I took it out of the plastic and laid it out, I liked what I saw. I figured it would look cute once I put it on.
This chemise is 93% Polyamide and 7% spandex. Made in China. The care instructions are hand wash in cold water, line dry. It comes with a plain black thong (not a g-string), which has the same instructions and material. The thong fits fine, even though I don't really wear thongs. The liner is in a reasonable place and it has a nice amount of stretch to the waistband.
Here are some photo of me wearing the chemise (with a white tank top under it):
I don't really like the bust. There is no support at all - no underwire, no padding, nothing, and the cups themselves aren't totally flattering. I generally wear a C or D cup depending on the brand, so I fill this just fine but it isn't terribly flattering to my bust. The bust-line looks high in these photos, but I think that is because I am wearing a tank top underneath, because I didn't think it was. The chemise has 4 removable adjustable garters, which have all plastic components, no metal. There are 3 straps on each side of the top, 6 total. They are each adjustable, though I had no need to adjust them. I think the detail of the tiny bows above each cup on the straps is quite cute. I just don't like how I look in this. I know I have a nice body, and I have several other chemises that I like that I think make my body look even better..but this is not really one. This feels more like a to me slip than a chemise somehow. I don't think I'll get much wear out of this. Maybe I'll end up liking it more than I do now for some reason, but as of right now I am just not loving how this chemise looks on me.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I still don't really like this chemise. I am not a fan of the lack of bust support. However, I have found myself wearing this thong a lot lately! I don't even wear thongs typically, I like boyshorts. I used to wear thongs almost exclusively years ago. This one is very comfortable and I have been wearing it with jeans during the day, and I would buy a pack of them if they sold them on EF. Also, my partner thinks it looks flattering on me, which is nice. But the chemise, I have not really worn since reviewing. I put it on one night, gave myself a once-over in the mirror and put it back in the lingerie drawer. Not a big fan of the chemise. I don't hate it, but it's not that cute and I have other chemises that I really love.
