A Cute Summer Dress
The Wild In Ibiza Dress by DreamGirl is a cute dress that would be excellent for the warmer months because of the extremely thin material. The material is comfortable against the skin, and fits nicely. The only real issue I had was with the sparkly accented areas of the dress. They really aren't that sparkly and the sewing job is not the greatest.

Pros
style of dress, comfortable material, includes thong, good for warm weather
Cons
can see nipple outline through material, sparkly accents are sewn loosely and look cheap
The Wild In Ibiza Dress by DreamGirl is available in sizes S-3X, though it is not offered in XL or 2X. Usually I wear a size XL, but ordered the size large of this dress since XL is not available. The dress is only available in the colour pink.
The dress and matching pink thong arrived on a hanger, surrounded by plastic. The hanger has the company name on it (DreamGirl), and is black. The plastic surrounding the piece did not have any text or photos on it, but there was a tiny circular sticker with the size on it. On the dress, there was a cardboard tag with a photo of a model wearing the dress and stated company name, company website, colour, and size of the item. You could keep the plastic if you wanted to, though I just store my dress on the hanger it came with when it is not being worn.
The outfit is 92% polyester and 8% spandex. The material is quite thin and extremely stretchy. The material becomes sheer the more you stretch it, though the bottom of the dress is supposed to flow rather than be stretched. The chest part of the dress is a double layer of material, so it does not become sheer when stretched.
I’ve taken measurements of the outfit laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, send me a message and I can get them for you.
Thong
Waistband width unstretched: 14 ¼ inches
Waistband width stretched as much as I could: 27 inches
Widest part of material that covers your front area: 4 ¾ inches
Liner length: 3 ¾ inches
Dress
Length of dress (armpit to bottom of dress): 21 inches
Cup length: 7 inches
Cup width: 6 ¾ inches
Width beneath chest: 14 ¾ inches
Length of sparkly band beneath chest: 1 ¼ inches
Length of cut out beneath cups, centre: 3 inches
Width of cut out beneath cups, centre: 1 inch
Neck ties length: 21 inches each
The size large fit me well because of the stretchiness. The back of the dress, along the very top, has an elastic band that can be stretched for added width.
When I had first seen the dress in the stock photo, I was really only interested in the dress because of the sparkly pieces beneath the chest and on the neck ties. I also really liked the style of the dress, but I’ve never been a fan of the colour pink. After much contemplation, I decided to purchase the dress because I thought it would possibly look good on me (and I can’t resist the sparkle).
The first thing I noticed is that the stock photo of the dress seems to be darker than the actual dress I received. There isn’t a terribly noticeable difference in colour, but it is slightly lighter than the stock photo.
The second thing I noticed was that the “sparkly” areas of the dress are really not that sparkly at all. I think that the stock photo has some photoshopped “sparkles”. I had assumed that there were some rhinestones, but the band beneath the chest and the pieces on the neck ties have metal beads, clear beads, and a few silver rhinestones on them. You can see this in the photo below.
The beads and sequins are sewn on quite loosely in some areas and I feel that they will begin to come undone/fall off with time. Also, I feel that they look quite cheap.
The chest area of the dress is a double layer of material, though there is no padding or underwire. While the chest area is not sheer, you can see a nipple outline through the material. You could wear nipple pasties to avoid this. I found that my chest also stuck out on the sides of the dress a little bit because of the cup width.
The dress has long neck ties which you tie behind your neck to hold the dress up. The ties are quite long so this should not be an issue for anyone.
I’m 5’6 and the dress falls around mid-thigh on me. The top of the back of the dress is elastic band and I noticed that it made my back look chubbier. This wasn’t a big deal to me but I guess this depends on how comfortable you feel with your back. The dress doesn’t seem to show any underwear lines because of how it flows and its looseness.

Experience
...continued
The thong is just a basic, pink coloured thong. The thong is very stretchy and does have a liner in it. It’s really comfortable and could be worn as an everyday thong because it is so comfortable.
The material of the dress is comfortable against the skin. This would make a great summer dress because of the cut, look, and thin material. The only thing I was slightly uncomfortable with was that my chest is only being held up by neck ties. The halter style doesn’t push up your chest; instead they just sort of hang there. Also, I wish the material on the chest were thicker so I wouldn’t have to wear pasties with the dress. Below are a couple photos of me wearing the dress. I had to cover my chest because of the nipple outline showing through the material.
The care tag on the thong states that it should be hand washed in cold water and line dried. The dress care tag states that it should be dry cleaned only.
I’ve given the dress a 4 out of 5 (it would be 3.5 if it were possible) because while it wasn’t what I had expected, it is still cute and comfortable. The reason it loses a star is because the accent areas are really not that sparkly at all, they look sort of cheap, and the quality of the sewing is pretty terrible (the beads and sequins).
