(1x/2x) Sometimes Red & Black Just Aren't Sexy!
If I was basing my rating on a smaller item for a small woman, it would probably be four stars (I'd deduct one star for being uncomfortable). It is a cute design for the smaller sizes.
But this is a plus size product for plus size women and the design just doesn't seem like it would be attractive on many of us. This is one that is best left in small, medium and large.
When you add in the fact that its not that comfortable - I say "pass" on this one and find something else.

Cute design for smaller women
Cons
Uncomfortable fabric

I love red & black together and I think they can be a super sexy combination. But sometimes they just don't seem to work well together.
This product has a cute design and I really think a small woman can make this rock. But I don't think it works well for a plus size woman and I can't quite put my finger on it.
When this arrived, my daughter who isn't into red and black was early waiting for me to photograph the package so she could open it and try it on.
What it is … how to wear it
This is a chemise that you could wear in the bedroom or out in public if you combined it with leggings or tights. A thinner woman could really pull this off and look nice in it for clubbing I think. It is very versatile.
This item is currently available at Eden Fantasys in: S,M,L,XL and 1X/2X.
Packaging
This came in a plastic bag with a black padded hanger.
Material & Care
This is made of 82% nylon and 18% spandex. The tag recommends that you wash by hand and hang to dry. I would recommend following their instructions.
Design, Sizing & Fit
According to Coquette, I should wear clothes that are sizes 18-22, have a bra size of 46-50D, have a waist of 38"-42" and hips that are 46"-52".
I wear clothes that are 18/20 and 22/24, have a bra size of 44D, have a waist of 49" and a hip of 57".
We can know right from that this is going to be VERY TIGHT in the waist if I can wear it at all.
But since I am trying to lose weight - I decided to try it anyway.
When you look at me modeling it, please remember that my torso is 18-19". Depending upon your torso length, this may be shorter or longer on you.
Specific Measurements
center top of front to hem 23"
top of cup to hem 24"

Experience
Comfort
On a scale from 1-5 with 5 being the most comfortable, this is about a 2. I find the red fabric to be scratchy and "crinkly". The dots are flocked which means they're like velveteen but you can feel them through the fabric.
I am not impressed with this garment when it comes to comfort.
Final Thoughts
My guy hasn't even seen this on me because he'd probably tell me to go ahead and keep it and I'm trying to decide whether to send it back or give it to my daughter.
Here's the problem with it. Once again, Coquette doesn't know plus size women like I wish they did.
This design works well for a smaller woman up to maybe size 14. If you normally wear sizes small, medium or large with them - then I think you could make this work no matter what your butt size is.
But I felt like Coquette said, "Let's take this item and just give it larger boobs and sell it to the big gals who want to feel sexy" and never thought about the fact that this design just isn't as good for many of us.
In addition, I felt like they used uncomfortable fabric too.
The worst part is - this looked adorable on my daughter who is about 60 pounds lighter than I am. She likes it, so I will probably give it to her.

Don't like the open back!
-
Hate that the fabric is uncomfortable. I feel like it would be a lot cuter if the back was closed or open in a different way. The way it's cut just looks weird. But the front looks really good on you.
-
You're right, this cut just doesn't show a very good understanding of how bodies are shaped... I don't think I'd like the keyhole much either. And a shame it's uncomfortable material, too!
-
your on quite a tear, ty for the review.
-
Great review! I am with you on this one, you have so many others that look more comfortable to wear. The bra style hook up in the back would just kill me! Sorry this didn't work, I am scratching it off my list!!!
-
It looks good but who wants to wear something uncomfortable
-
This looks so nice. I hate that it's uncomfortable. Thanks for the review.

love this piece!
-
Damn shame! The front looks awesome! The back looks a bit odd with how low it goes, but still cool!

The back opening does seem a little low. Thanks for modeling that for us!
