I don't know why anyone would buy this stuff again. This was one of the first lubes I used, back in college when I was trying to save money. If I'd known, I would've just splurged on a better kind than this.

The main problem, really, is that it dries out quickly with thrusting (when exposed to air and friction), so it gets really gunky and hard to use. Plus, there isn't that much water content in it to begin with.

It stays where you put it, but is that really what you want? Better lubes (I suggest ID Glide, which is my favorite so far) are runny when you dispense them, but they also create a slicker layer of moisture without the drag that KY has.

I've had to reapply this stuff multiple times and then clean myself out right after sex. With ID Glide, I use a pea-sized drop on my inner lips to ease insertion, and I can just wipe it off quickly with a paper towel after. It remains a little bit sticky, but I think that's fine. KY seems to get into your skin, and after I used it, I felt like I needed to take a shower. Even then, it's still pretty hard to clean out.

Anyway, it did do what it is supposed to; it did make sex more comfortable. It was particularly enjoyable in sex without much thrusting where it wasn't exposed to air as much (like girl on top). But most of the time it dries out way too quickly. There are so many drawbacks that I really wouldn't suggest it to anyone. Even for masturbation, I didn't liked it. It made my toys all gunky, and I had to take extra time cleaning them later.

I would say save yourself some grief (and some showering) and splurge on a better lube.

I threw this stuff out a long time ago. It was way too thick, for sex or using a toy. It gets gunky when it dries and it's so hard to clean out afterwards. I'd suggest ID Glide.
