Pros
The combination of silicone and botanicals makes for an unsurpassed level of comfort.
Cons
If you like silicone toys - look elsewhere!
My wife and I are not mainstream when it comes to lubricants. The EF mainstream is definitely all about premium water-based lubes. We hate them - no matter what we end up needing to reapply or worse the lube getting sticky and performing the opposite of what you buy a lubricant for.
Our first solution to this problem was to buy almond-oil and vitamin E oil massage products and using them as lubricants. We like this option because we can go straight from an erotic massage to sex without missing a beat. But being the experimenters that we are - our next venture was to try out ID Millennium - which we love and still use for anal activity.
Our preferred lube for all things vaginal is Yes oil-based lube. You can only get the stuff from a site in the UK - but we've never found anything with the same combination of body-friendly ingredients. The Shea & cocoa butters are exquisite, they leave her skin and vulva silky smooth even after the most vigorous sexual activity.
So why Pjur? This one was strictly for me. I'm getting more into anal play and the ID Millennium was not cutting it. The tightness of my anal sphincter tends to 'wipe' the dildo clean requiring frequent reapplication - a real turn-off.
My first attempt to get around this was to buy something cheaper - so we bought Boy Butter. The BB is a combination oil & silicone lubes. BB is indeed thicker and we sometimes use it for both vaginal and anal play. After a while though, I wasn't feeling as comfortable with anal play as I had hoped - so I bit-the-bullet and ordered the Pjur Back Door formula and couldn't be happier!
The combination of silicone and botanicals like Jojoba and Amyris is superb. We tried a similar formula from Intimate Organics called 'Adventure'. Adventure is sold as an 'anal relaxant' and it actually works quite well - but applying Adventure - letting it take effect, then applying regular lube was simply too inconvenient.
Learning from all these experiences the Pjur Back Door seemed to have all the right ingredients. I couldn't be happier with the results. The thickness definitely makes for greater comfort with no need to reapply. And I believe the botanical additives do work to help relax inexperienced sphincter muscles.
As most of you already know - silicone lubes must not be used with silicone toys. This is not a problem for me because 98% of my anal activity is using glass - and I'm not a fan of plugs - instead preferring the pressure transfer feeling of thrusting a slightly textured or wavy glass toy like the Cyberglass 4-way, Silenzio or Lucid Heart.

Experience
When my girl is OTR - we still enjoy some sex play with her giving me some awesome HJs & BJs. Since we've discovered the pleasures of anal play - she knows she get this old guy to shoot a long way by thrusting one of our glass wands.
Using Pjur Back Door for our latest adventure enhanced the experience a lot. The added comfort freed her from having to worry about re-applying ID Millennium and made me so comfortable that I was able to fully focus on the phenomenal sensations - giving me a very explosive orgasm. Not the shot heard around the world - but pretty good for an old guy!

Follow-up commentary

I've always preferred silicone lube for anal penetration and since I prefer glass over silicone toys - that works out great. Pjur Back Door takes that comfort to a whole new level. The botanicals (jojoba seed and amyris balsamifera bark oils) add a level of comfort not found in straight dimethicone formulations.
If you're not using silicone toys - Pjur Back Door should be your anal lube of choice.
