Wet Body Glide is, simply put, an all-around awesome lube. It's great to use during intercourse and pretty sweet during oral sex. (Literally! It actually helped my timid guy become more comfortable with oral!) This stuff is even awesome during solo play, with or without a toy. This lube can also be used anally.

It's water-based, so it's compatible with latex and silicone (i.e. most condoms and most toys). Because it's water-based, you might find you'll have to reapply it once or twice during a nice sex session, but that's to be expected with water-based lubes. I LOVE Wet--I've been using them for years!

Even though the bottle says "gel lubricant", I wouldn't call this so much a gel as, well, just a lube. It's not as runny as some lubes, but it's not exactly of a gel or jelly consistency in my opinion--which is great! Textures like Vaseline annoy me during sex, so this was awesome. The closest I can come do describing the texture and consistency would be to compare it to certain types of dish soap. It beads very nicely if you put a drop on your fingertip, and it runs pretty quickly down a shaft. I was a little leery on picking out something that said "gel", but after the first use I was sold.

The taste is great, pretty much like any artificial strawberry candy (yum!), and it smells awesome. Like I said, it even helped my guy along with wanting to try oral. Good stuff!

It's not overly strong, so the room doesn't completely fill up with the scent of strawberry while you're using it, but if you can definitely smell it if you get close enough. The taste isn't overwhelming, but it does pack a punch. It's got a very candy-like quality to it which I find completely appetizing!

Like any water-based lube, you may have to reapply mid-session. If you're like me and like to break in the middle of sex and continue a bit of foreplay to build up tension, this lube has a habit of becoming a little tacky. During quickies and sex sessions that we don't break, it endures pretty darn well. I'm just sure to have the bottle nearby.

Afterward it's always nice to freshen up with a damp cloth or body wipe; like I said, it has a habit of getting tacky. Truth be told, though, it's totally worth it.

As far as packaging goes, I like my stuff as classy and non-extreme as possible. Wet delivered with a crystal clear bottle wrapped in a graphically modern label. No naked ladies on this product! Just a healthy, fresh bunch of appetizing strawberries.

The cap is easy to open, even single-handedly (so definitely keep this locked up if you've got kids or dogs that love to chew stuff) but won't accidentally open in your drawer or toy bag. I've had it happen--not fun. Thankfully, this bottle stays closed until someone opens it. The lid itself is domed with a plastic pin that inserts into the pour opening: this keeps the lube in better than any other bottle I've had experience with.



This really doesn't matter, but the inside of the label is red, giving the lube inside a red hue until you pour it out. I thought that was pretty cool.

It is an easy pour, and after many uses I still don't have to wipe the opening off!

I'm not so sure this would be uber travel-friendly, seeing as though it's a pretty decent-sized bottle and it's easy to open; however, I have transported it in my purse several times and it's always been perfectly dry. My fear would be it getting jostled in a bag during long-term transit. If you're taking it in a suitcase, be sure to slip it in a ziploc bag.
