I like to use Wet Original for both self use and for partner use. It works great on toys, in sleeves or just with my fingers. It was a lot thinner than I originally expected it to be when I bought it. In fact when I first opened it I thought it was going to be an epic failure and be too runny and either drip all away or dry up. Much to my enjoyment, it did neither. I found I didn't have to use as much of the Wet Original as I have with other water based lubes in the past, and I never had to reapply once things got started. Unlike past lubes I have used, this one didn't become sticky or tacky once things had been going for awhile, which was a fabulous plus for this lube. It stayed nice and wet (they really nailed it with the name) during the entire use making it all feel completely natural. I'll definitely be keeping this one in the bedroom not far from my reach!

This lube is totally natural-feeling and very smooth. I would say it feels like water on your skin, but water doesn't stay and causes drag and this lube definitely does not do either. It is extremely thin and therefore is extremely easy to pour, which can lead to accidentally squeezing out way too much, which happened to me the first time I went to pour it out. Keep in mind the fact that it is very runny when you go to pour or you'll end up with half the bottle. Even thought the name says “gel lubricant“, it does not feel gel-like to me and unlike greasy lubes, it does not leave a greasy feeling once your done.

The smell of this lube is almost non-existent. I would not call it scentless, but you really have to have it shoved up under your nose to even get a small whiff of it. When you do get a whiff, it has a very faint lube smell. But this was never a problem during use, since it is so faint. There is no taste either (it also states on the bottle that it is safe if ingest).

This lube had great lasting power without needing to reapply, which surprised me with it being a water-based lube as all others I have used have required reapplication, which is very distracting. There was no real need to wash it off with anything as it just wiped off and anything left would just dry off without leaving any after feeling. I really liked the natural feeling of the lube because it really just felt like I was very wet and not like I had added any lube. The only thing that was a little annoying was how runny it was because it made it more difficult to control how much came out of the bottle while pouring. However, the runniness in no way effected the performance of the lube and there wasn't anything that detracted from how well it worked.

It came in a box a little larger than the bottle itself. The outside of the box has the name in larger letters, making this not a very discreet box. The directions of use, the warnings and the list of ingredients are on the back of the bottle itself. It also states that it is non-staining and hypoallergenic. The warnings do warn of the possibility of leakage from the bottle if not stored upright.

Directions: Use WET ORIGINAL as needed to supplement your natural moisture, enhance intimacy, lubricate latex condoms, and facilitate the easy insertion of medical devices. To relieve personal dryness, apply a small amount of WET ORIGINAL to the area of the body you wish to lubricate. Reapply as desired. Harmless if ingested. Easily washes away with warm water.

When I first opened this bottle of lube and my husband went to pour it, it came flowing out way faster than expected, which resulted in massive overload of lube and a few minutes of laughing. Once the laughing was under control, we got to work and discovered the versatility of this lube and how well it worked. We have been able to use it from independent use and in a sleeve as well as for vaginal sex, toy use and anal use. We have since learned the right amount to use and how to prevent anymore than needed to come out of the bottle. This is a great versatile lube that we will be keeping around.
