Cherry STA-Hard

This is a great cream type male desensitizer. It actually absorbs and works!

It is rubbed all over the male penis to help desensitize it so it doesn’t go off! I paid extra special attention to the frenulum, which is where the head attaches to the shaft and the head of the penis. They say these are the most sensitive parts. It is to help prevent premature ejaculation. It could also be used for oral play to help desensitize the gag reflex and for anal play. Only a small amount of the cream is needed. A tube should last you a long time.



The main ingredient in STA-Hard is Benzocaine 7.5%. This is a numbing agent. It is the same ingredient that is in orajel for your toothaches. Do not put orajel on your penis it is a completely different compound with a different concentration of the Benzocaine.

I was quite shocked to see that the Sta hard is actually a cream based product rather than a gel or ointment type consistency. It is thick and squeezes out to a thick consistency. Much thicker than lotions. It absorbs completely leaving only a slight lotion type reside. It wasn’t greasy. It is compatible for use with a condom. When using with a condom a smaller amount of the cream is needed. I don’t have any information available of it’s compatibility with gel contraceptives though.(I did try to check!!).

It doesn’t smell good, this is from the benzocaine, it does smell slightly like cherries but it does smell bad!! It does taste sweet and slightly like cherries. If you taste this off of your finger it will numb up your tongue. When using it and you plan on doing some oral and you don’t want to desensitize your mouth you may want to wait a few minutes for the product to fully absorb. I would suggest that it only be placed on the penis after it is fully erect or your man may not be able to get fully erect due to the desentizing action. The desenitzing does last for approximately 10 minutes, it may last longer or shorter depending on the user.



The STA Hard other ingredients include:

Cetearyl alcohol
Dimethicone
Ethoxdiglycol
Flavor
Methylparaben
Neopentyl glycol diheptanonate
Phenoxyethanol
Polysorbate 80
Propylene glycol

So it does contains parabens if you are sensitive to parabens.

Because the cream actually absorbs you really don’t have any clean up with it. I used this in combination with a water based lube after it was fully absorbed and we didn’t have any issues and it didn’t de sensitize me (the female).



The cream comes in a 1.5 ounce tube with a screw type lid. It doesn’t leak out of the tube since it is a thicker cream. The amount shown on my finger in the picture is just a small, small amount that is basically the amount that I used on my husband. This tube will last a long, long time. The tube comes in the plastic shell shown in the picture and the tube itself is quite discrete and travels well. It is under the 2 ounce restriction for TSA!!

My husband and I have tried other desensitzers over the years and this one really out performs all of the rest. Yes the smell is an issue but once it has absorbed into the skin there isn't much smell left to it. I would suggest this to my friends and I am very impressed with it. My husband states that the lube only tones down the sensations and doesn't totally take them away.

I still like to use this cream. It does work well to mute the sensations to help the erection last longer. Remember to have it on for a while before someone goes licking and gets a numb tongue!
