Wet Synergy FREEZING PAIN

Overall, we weren't thrilled with this product. It's nice and slippery, great lubrication... But the cooling sensation was just too strong. Also, you have to be careful using it with your toys since it's partially silicone based. If someone really enjoys cooling sensations, then they'll probably enjoy this lube. But if you're sensitive to temperature sensations, this might be too much for you.

Use

This is a water/silicone hybrid lube. It's relatively thick and stays slippery for quite a while, making it extremely useful for penetration, especially anal. It could also be used for solo play, with or without toys. Not only does it provide lubrication, but it also causes cooling sensations that may arouse or prolong.
This lubricant is thick (and greasy) enough that it might even work for use in the shower.
Because it is partially silicone based, it is not safe to use with silicone toys.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Ingredients: Glycerin, Deionized Water, Dimethiconol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Trideceth-6, PEG/PPG Dimethicone, Pentylene Glycol, Peppermint

This lube is completely smooth, but has a very greasy/oily feeling because it is partially silicone based. It pours rather easily, and is thin enough that it can drip or run, but thick enough that you can easily apply a thick coat of it. It does stay slippery through quite a bit of friction. Once you get a little bit of this lube on the outside of the bottle (like around the cap), it's going to stay greasy, no matter what. A bit of a pain, actually.

Taste / Aroma

I don't think this lube is edible, and even if it was, I probably wouldn't want to taste it. The scent is relatively strong, like menthol or peppermint. It kind of strikes me as a combination of rubber and toothpaste. Strange, but not too unpleasant.

Performance

As a lubricant, this stuff is fantastic. It's thick and slick and doesn't require reapplication. It holds up to all the friction you could possibly want.

But, the sensations are WAY too strong- at least in my opinion. The "Cool Tingle" is really a deeply penetrating cold that actually makes it difficult to notice any other sensations. If you don't mind feeling like your privates are freezing, you'll love this stuff!

Another thing I'm not too thrilled about is how difficult cleanup is. This lube requires one or two washes with soap and water to get rid of the greasy/oily feeling of the silicone aspect.

I've also heard a few complaints about the fact that it contains glycerin, though I don't have enough experience with lubes to agree or disagree with those complaints.
    • Difficult to wash off
    • Long lasting

Packaging

This product doesn't come in a box or carton of any sort- just the bottle in a plastic bag (which is provided by EF for shipping safety). It does have a safety seal, so you can be sure it hasn't been damaged or tampered with, for safety.

The bottle itself is a black plastic cylinder with a black and blue label, white text, and blue cap. This bottle features a twist-off cap that can also be opened by pushing down one edge to make the other side pop up. It's easy enough to open with one hand, but does require a bit of strength to squeeze the lube out because the bottle isn't all that flexible.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Easy to use / dispense

Special Features

This lubricant causes a "cool tingle", which is rather strong and may be uncomfortable to some users (like me). Like I said before, the "tingle" is actually a penetrating cold that makes it difficult to focus on any other sensations. Even worse, if you find the sensations to be too much and want to get the lube OFF, it takes a thorough washing (or two) to get rid of it.

Personal comments

The label does have a warning, that says:
"If irritation or discomfort occurs discontinue use immediately. Do not use if seal is torn or opened. Keep out of eyes and ears. Keep out of reach of children. Store at controlled room temperature 59 to 86F (15 to 30C). Very slippery, clean spills immediately. Do not use near an open flame. Do not use with other silicone products. For cosmetic use only."

Experience

We have a kind of love/hate relationship with this lube. He loves it, and I hate it.

See, we really like using toys, but most of our toys can't be paired with this lube (because of the partially silicone base) without a cover of sorts. The problem with that is that I have a latex allergy, so condoms and covers are tricky.

My partner enjoys the sensations provided by this lube, but I find them to be too strong. If only there were a way for him to wear it without getting it on me!

I find that using it for anal penetration is slightly more tolerable than using it for vaginal... but only slightly. After a few tries, we decided that we really weren't fans of this product. It's probably going to the bottom of the toy box or into the garbage can.

So disappointing!
Follow-up commentary
Eh... This lube really just isn't for us. We enjoy using toys (most of which are silicone), and this stuff is a hybrid lube, which means it can potentially damage silicone toys.
On top of that, it's a powerful cooling lube. I mean, some people may enjoy it, but we found it to be almost overwhelmingly powerful, to the point that it actually made intercourse uncomfortable!

Good review. I never tried a cooling lube, despite warnings of it being to intense I'm still strangely curious.
