Personally, I would probably use this product again, but not for pegging or anal penetration. Masturbation or a little extra lube added to vaginal penetration is probably where it performs the best. If given the choice, I'd more than likely choose another lube over this one.

So if you are needing to squeeze an "elephant through a window", this lube is NOT for you. But if you just want to add some "suds to the (already wet) slip-n-slide" this may be your cup of tea.

Use

Wet is known for its wide variety of lubes they have on the market. Some shine, and others fall quite short. This one is closer to the bottom of the totem pole. Platinum offers a decent lubricant option for couples or individuals needing such.

The downfall of Platinum is the stickiness after continued use. Upon first feeling the lube in my hand, it felt pretty normal and maybe water based. The *ahem* "little guy" starts out feeling rather nice and "lubey", but after about 5 minutes it gets rather thick and sticky. Adding more lube helps to an extent, yet it still builds up more stickiness after another 5 minutes.

Taste / Aroma

As for the taste of Platinum, it's not much different than any other standard lube. Of course, it doesn't taste fantastic, but it doesn't taste terrible either. The smell is light and, consistent with the taste, standard of a lube. I will say it does taste better than "normal run of the mill lubes". Nothing too out of the ordinary or special here though.

Performance

I used Platinum for mostly pegging. The boyfriend kept complaining about its stickiness and asking me to add more. It did get the job done but only after fighting with the consistency of the lube.

After the deed was done, he usually had a rather tough time getting the lube washed off. Quite a scrub was usually needed to remove it. Soap and water strongly recommended...or a paint chipper.

Packaging

Platinum comes, ironically, in a black tube of over 2 oz. The bottle was sleek, thin and long. Yet again, nothing special, but not cheap or cheesy in any way.

Be warned though, the bottle is prone to spillage or leakage if not closed entirely. It's not exactly the first thing on my mind while "gettin' it on" to close the top securely.
