Wet naturals beautifully bare review
On paper, I really like Wet Naturals. Less chemicals, can be used with silicone toys. In practice it's just not what I want it to be; it runs all over the place and makes a mess without providing the slip & slide environment that I want.

Pros
More natural than other lubes and paraben free, pH balanced, not stinky.
Cons
Runny, absorbs too quickly, dries in sticky mess.
The thinking behind Wet Naturals|Wet naturals beautifully bare is great. The ingredients include aloe vera, grape seed, cranberry, red clover, and grapefruit seed extracts, and vitamin E. It is also paraben-free, which I appreciate from a health perspective.
Cranberry and clover extracts help balance the pH of the vagina, making it a less favorable environment for infection, particularly yeast. Since it’s also sugar free, this is a great product for people who are infection and yeast prone.
It has no smell at all, which in my book is always a good thing. However, if fragrance is your thing, Wet makes the same product in strawberry scent/flavor.
My personal experience with this product is that it’s a little too thin for what I prefer, and because it’s water based it absorbs faster than I’d like. In my mind, the point of using extra lubrication is to make things more seamless. Having to reapply lube does not make sex seamless. This is especially true of anal sex where more lube is necessary and it seems like it absorbs faster.
As a comparison, this product is much more like Astroglide|Astroglide than KY-Jelly as far as texture goes. I like the gel aspect of KY and wish this lube had it; as it is, it’s messy because it’s so runny, which is not only annoying but also wastes a lot of the product.
The flip side of being water based is that it’s super-easy to clean up. We’ve spilled it on the bed and the sheets come out of the wash without a trace. Soap and water quickly takes it off your hands. It really is necessary to wash off when you’re done though, as it dries in this gross, seminal sort of way. The way it dries also means that it’s really no good for anything but penetrative lube - forget using it as massage lube for foreplay. You’ll end up with a sticky mess that distracts from the rest of the action.
