Simone Hint of Cool Lube did just as the name implies. Not only was it cool, but it was soothing and very refreshing. Overall, as a lube this product did stay moist and slick, but without that awful stickiness that some lubricants tend to leave. This lubricant worked great for me and my boyfriend thought it was nice as well, but the cooling effect was not as strong as what we thought it would be. It turns out that this lube really doesn't need to be strong because it left me feeling very soft and refreshed. What makes this lubricant even better is that it is water based, and can be used with latex condoms and some toys as well.

Upon first opening the package, I noticed that the lubricant seemed separated. There was a white, lotion-like film on the inside of the glass bottle. I read the label and it says to shake well before use, so I shook it up a bit and most of it mixed right in. I rubbed a little onto my wrist, to test and see if I'd have a reaction because of my sensitive skin, and the lube felt silky and soft. It is almost clear with a hint of white and is more on the thin side, but not watery. Once on my skin it rubbed in great, but stayed slick for several moments while I rubbed it. There is a slight smell like peppermint and is quite pleasant. It says that the lube is moisturizing, and it really does feel like lotion after it is dried. With a little water, it becomes that great silky slick surface all over again.

Like I said earlier, this fantastic lube has a peppermint smell. It smells sweet and leaves a slight cooling sensation. It does have a slight taste like peppermint, or mint in general. I can not decide, but I like it. The smell and taste only last a few minutes without reapplying, but the cooling sensation stays. If you like peppermint, as I do, this is a great choice, and the smell and taste is subtle. It is not strong at all and does not leave a chemical aftertaste either.

The lube lasted for about 15 to 20 minutes before it needed to either be reapplied or to get a little water on it, but I found that it really did not take much to get it back to its silky state. Also, when I was finished with the lube it left my skin soft, as if I had used a lotion, and did not need to be washed off. I love that it does leave me feeling cool and refreshed, which is what the product promotes. I absolutely love this water-based lubricant! The cooling effect is not overpowering, it feels great, smells great, and leaves my skin soft. What is not to love?

The lube came in a cute white box that held the bottle in place. The bottle itself is glass and clear.It is slender and tall with a modest, nude woman on the front. There is a clear cap to keep the nozzle from accidentally getting pushed down. Without this, however, the nozzle can be pushed down and make a mess because there is no lock option like on some similar bottles. It's small enough that it could fit in an everyday purse, and could be left out because it is pretty discreet. It looks like a bottle of lotion for the most part. The back of the bottle is where you will find Simone and what the product is. It says "Hint of cool moisturizing water based lubricant." in a couple different languages. Further down the bottle is says "Luz Dela Riva.com ... Shake well before use."

It also lists the ingredients which are Purified water, Glycerine, Xanthan Gum, Poloxamer 407, Sodium Sterate, Flavor, and Menthyl Lactate. The bottle holds 3.58oz, and made in the USA.

It says that the lube is cooling. I did not really feel a strong cooling sensation, but it was small and gradual, which, to be honest, was better for me. It was also soothing and felt great everywhere on my body. The lube really did make me feel refreshed and cool when I was finished using it, which is a great plus for me. I loved the clean, soft feeling it left on my skin and will continue to use this for all of my sexual lube needs. Most lubricants leave me feeling sticky, but not this one, it smells and tastes sweet, which is also really great for oral because there is not a chemical taste or aftertaste. If you are looking for something with an immediate and major temperature change, I would suggest something else, but if you want something that is cool and refreshing, try this. The bottle is big enough to last a while and I love it more than anything else I have tried so far.

This lube is currently about $20, and could be costly, but I think that this lubricant is really worth its price. It's the best lube that I have tried so far because it is smooth and lasts quite a while. Long lasting, great smell and taste, smooth texture, and a lube that finally leaves me feeling clean, that is so many wonderful things wrapped up into one cute bottle. I definitely recommend this to someone who is tired of the sticky and greasy lubricants that have to be washed off right away.

I have tried many lubricants, some were good while others were plain terrible, but this one stands out. This is the first lube that I have tried with my boyfriend that we have both loved. Usually he wants something that he can use as well as I, and this served that purpose. It allowed for a lot of foreplay and was a wonderful lube for oral and intercourse. Keeping everything moist and slick, this lube really stayed wet for quite a while and did not get sticky and create problems. I also have sensitive skin and this lubricant did not break my skin out at all or affect other more sensitive areas, which was a wonderful surprise. This product really was everything I had been looking for in other lubricants.
