I am very excited about Sliquid Sassy Booty. I don’t often need lube for vaginal sex or masturbation, so most of the lube gets used by my boyfriend who buys ID glide which contains chemicals that make me a little uneasy and is not guaranteed to be vegan (though the ingredients look ok).

Since I was only using it occasionally, it wasn’t bothering me that much. However we recently decided to try anal play, and ID Glide was not helping enough for his finger or plug insertion. It was not meant as an anal lube and was just too thin.

Sliquid Sassy booty gel is nice and thick. It works well as intended, It made inserting my first anal plug nice and easy. I don’t know how long it would last during anal sex involving thrusting, but I wore my plug for quite a while and it was still comfortable.

What is really great is that Sassy Booty is useful in other contexts. It has no taste or smell, so it is great for oral sex. During fellatio, my saliva doesn’t seem to feel as comfortable as lube to my guy. However, the lube we had on hand tastes sickly sweet, which I can’t stand during sex. I also don’t like the idea of eating chemicals very much. So I normally have to stop at some point, apply lube and then only continue with a hand job. With this product lube doesn’t have to be the end of oral fun. It has also worked when I needed vaginal lubrication. Sassy is also safe for all your toys as it is water based. Over all, it is a great go to lube of everything I need.

I don’t think Sassy lasts quite as long as the more chemically laden lubes, but it lasts significantly longer than other vegan natural lubes I have tried in the past. I am thrilled that vegan technology has kept up with my desire for new experimentation.

While many lubes may be vegan and gluten free, it is nice that this company guarantees it. I have friends who are celiac, and the smallest amount of cross contamination can severely affect them, so I know people exist who need gluten free everything. This product is also free from a long laundry list of chemicals that are suspected of being bad. The bottle itself has a larger list of “contains no (fill in the blank)" than the website mentions. The bottle says it is free of “DEA, gluten, glycerin, glycerol, parabens, PEG, propylene glycol, sorbitol & sulphates.” So it is even ‘safer’ than the safety info says.

The dispenser is a click top similar to a shampoo bottle. So far, that has worked well, but it looks like it may start to collect dried lube, which will gum up the works. It is not really a problem since it is water based and can be easily washed out if that happens. You just need to notice before the heat of the moment.

I highly recommend this lube to people looking for a more natural (and or vegan) lube that is great in a variety of contexts. My biggest con is that I can’t buy it in bulk to get a better deal.

I still love this lube! I like the thickness, the taste, and the fact it is compatible with all my toys. It is my go-to lube for all occasions, and all orifices ;). Whether for vagina, oral, or anal sex (with a partner or alone) this lube holds up well and performs beautifully.
