Liquid sex has a series of lubes, silicone based, warming, a water based glycerin free and this product water based with glycerin. We received this lube as a free gift and I am certainly glad I didn't waste money on this product. I would have to agree with the fact that this is the worst lube we have tried so far water based or otherwise.

We have used Liquid sex for a variety of sexual applications. For male masturbation we found the time from application to tack/sticky was 10 minutes. When applied it was too water-like and not slippery enough. So, while it did lubricate, it wasn't as good as other water based products. The stringing that this product is unbelievable. Be prepared for very long strands when trying to dispense this product.

Now while it's true reapplication is all a part of using water based lube, and the tackiness of glycerin based lubes is also a feature of these products, external use of this lube leads to a sticky mess that cant be worked through. Reactivation via water or saliva is only helpful for a couple of minutes making your play session all about keeping things "wet".

When used for intercourse we had a little more success, Mrs. Greek just needs to be primed, then there isn't much need for added lubrication. So, if you need something just to get started, this product can fill in when you're in a bind. A positive aspect of Liquid sex is that it did not cause irritation for us. Mrs. Greek has had reactions to glycerin in the past (wet gel lubricant). We have read other reviews that did report an irritation, but our experience with irritation was favorable.

With anal use we encountered the same difficulties as when we used it externally; the dry time is just too fast, forcing us to have to concentrate on reapplying or reactivating the lube...NOT FUN

Another plus was the packaging, we liked the contoured bottle. If your hands are slippery, as they often are when using lube, and you need to reapply, it's easier to get a grip on this bottle.

We haven't seen any water based lubes that stain, Liquid sex classic also did not stain and tended to clean up very easily. Having said that, we did wash up as opposed to just drying off. Superior products allow us to just towel off, and not feel sticky.

We were disappointed overall for most of our applications and able to use it to initiate intercourse (Mrs. Greek's natural lubricant takes over). It's just too stringy, dries way too fast, and is more trouble than it's worth.

I use this in the shower, so it's stringy, messy qualities don't bother me as much. I do still think it's an awful product, but it serves its purpose. It was free, so you get what you pay for.
